Absolutely. Into 12s now. Happy to have the value. And he looked great today.Aye, not ideal. But at least he retains ability. And I'll chose the rose tinted view that he's got something left.
Hopefully the others finished close enough that he shouldn't go up much. The Goffer running not too different to last year's Cheltenham.
Stumptown's got to be 160s now. So Vanillier got a bit to play with to not be better off with him this year.
They'll be worse 33/1 shots anyway.
Not sure the handicapper goes too hard on horses of vanillers profile. For context he won that race by 18l last year off 144 and only got 3lb uk tax. So would be a bit strange to all of a sudden slap him with six or seven pounds this year when he's a year older.
Yeah, looked bloody good today. Glad the Goffer closed the gap late on - with regard to handicapper.Absolutely. Into 12s now. Happy to have the value. And he looked great today.
The three horses he beat last year into 2nd , 3rd, and 4th were rated 150, 142, and 144, and he beat them between 18-25 lengths, while receiving 10lbs. So you'd imagine the UK handicapper could have easily given him more tax if he wanted to. The fact he only gave him a few pounds would make me think he'll just do the same this year. Would be very strange if they went harder this year than last, but who knows with them. It's not actually a handicap that race though is it. Which makes it a bit trickier to second guess. But I hope you're right, and he shouldn't be too harsh on him. Anything similar rating to last year will do.

Champion hurdle winner in waitingKawaboomga with an entry in the Red Mills Trial Hurdle @ Gowran on Saturday.
Impaire Et Passe entered in the Red Mills Chase on the same day, too.
