2026 Novice Hurdlers

He'd be double figures in price if we'd have seen a couple of decent horses in Ireland
and that'll be why he's the price he is,we haven't seen a couple of decent horses in Ireland, yet.
Until we do his price will hold, but the exchanges are there for a reason.

I really can't believe his price, although I'm very happy about it.

I dont know why people are impressed by him beating 129 rated klimt Madrik by a length. I'm hearing about how he'll be a great chaser in time etc, but that's nothing to do with winning the turners. He's ran very low 130s on his third start over hurdles.

People will say he could gave won a lot further..... could he? Cobden didn't get serious, but he wasn't exactly hard on the bridle either looking as though he could take off if he wanted to. I'd say if he went for the whip he could have won 2-3 lengths maybe.
Yeah I think he could, it’s quiet a Cosy win imo
Looked to me like HC just wanted to do enough and had a few more gears to use if needed.
His price might not look great for those not on already, so I can see the views I’m reading on here .
Would probably help those if an alternative stuck out.
Maybe one of the many that are supposed to improve from their first runs might appear, and good luck finding that one before it wins next time.
Edit…..Love me Tender could be that one, he’s the one that im looking at out of all those anyway.

I liked Skylight Hustle other day, he looks like maybe a player. The one that was probably going to beat him looked useful.

Just 10 left in the lawlors,
only the main 2 left in for willie, saint baco and sortudo.

Great news for Saint Baco backers I'd say after past few weeks of the uncertainty surrounding his well being

Was there uncertainty? First I've heard. I only backed him again yesterday 😂

Assumed lawlors or Moscow flyer was always the plan.

Have left both of these alone. Wasn't that enamoured about Baco. Thought it was a scruffy race and the time wasn't great. Sortudo was more impressive, though the general consensus is that he needs further. Quite happy to let either of these win for now but what i will say is that they did win first time out and with the Mullins form, it's possible both horses could be marked up considerably.

One of those will go to Moscow flyer, surely?

Maybe, or they could go double handed to the Lawlors

2 that didn't remain in the latest entry stage are FREE SPIRIT and SOBER, both hurdles winners, so maybe they could be the Moscow Flyer horses, along with Davy Crockett for JP

Place de la nation declared on New Year’s Day. Gone in at 25/1 for mares novice

Jack Kennedy an interesting booking on a Mullins horse? Get the Gigginstown connection but can't think of many he's rode for Mullins?

I was quietly impressed with NDTE, but not to the point I would want to be taking his current price. Wondered what Cobden was doing turning for home having led throughout only to stack them up behind jumping three out. But he then extended away again and always had the race under control. Think he was ensuring the horse knew he was in a race and should learn more from it. I'm an advocate of speed winning a Turners though and there is no way he is more a 2 miler (Like The New Lion last year) than a 3 miler. If he was to turn up then expect him to be done for toe by a quicker Irish horse.

I think they were mindful that this was his 3rd run in 6 and a bit weeks and just wanted to do enough. Had it not been a grade 1 I’m not sure he would have run.
He’s now having a nice break and get freshened up for March.

Ah yes, the great Davy Crockett 🦫
I keep looking at him every time you mention him. Yes he's unbeaten during the summer but the form of all those that have ran in behind him has been dire. Am I missing something GV?

Probably not. Just desperation on my part hoping he may turn out to be another mystical power

be news to some but henderson article regarding Old Park Star and Act of Innocence.
I had correctly thought they'd come to trials day with Old Park but confirmation now on the change of plan after Innocence got beat the last day against the juvenile.

About turn's from both the wet ones me thinks, going on Nico's new comments.
It's like he wants a ride in both grade ones !! who'd have thought it :ROFLMAO:
