2026 Stayers Hurdle

Impose Toi to be given January off so looks like The Cleeve will be off limits.

I've took 65's on the Exchanges for Rockys Diamond, entered back up over hurdles after going chasing. 4th last year and another year older worth the punt to cover.

I've got him at shorter than that from before they announced he was going chasing. Always seemed an odd decision. Be nice to bring that slip back from the dead but it's actually a better looking race this year imo.

Agreed it's a much better looking race but he was only 5 last year so could possibly be plenty of improvement to come and at 65's I thought it was worth the risk.

Yea, I don't think it's a bad bet now. Just trying to justify my 33s 😂 it's a better looking race than I thought it might be at the time.

Ran a cracker as a 5yo last year and was surely worth another season as a staying hurdler.

This is good news. My 33/1 in March slip will have to be dug out the bin now 😂😂 ran a cracker last year given his age.

…W Mullins;

Ballyburn - I’m hoping he can reverse form with Teahupoo from the Hatton’s Grace. There was only a nose between them that day and we think he’ll have improved for the run. It’s going to be fascinating to see which horse improves the most. Our fellow is in good shape and likes this track at Leopardstown so there’s all to play for.

Mystical Power - He was running a great race last year in the Stayers’ Hurdle at Cheltenham until he lost his action coming down the hill.
He looked set for a top three finish in the Hatton’s Grace when coming down at the last on his return and he will put everything together one day and I’m hoping he’ll be a force in this staying division.

Interesting he still apparently has faith in Mystical Power. Is he just bullshitting??

With the ground drying gotta think that GE might pull Teahupoo so the WTAF price of the others are worth a little punt.

Cobden to ride Home By The Lea today after Slevin stood down

Love teahupoo

Just turns up and runs his race every time. Doesnt get near the credit he deserves.

May have to add big bob to the book for the race now too.

Ballyburns jumping seemed to fall apart mid race and he was legless by the end.

Winner was good as was the second.
Not sure what they do with Ballyburn if he ain’t a 3m hurdler.
