2026 Novice Hurdlers

Is there an actual time the entries come out or is it just some random time after 12pm?

I don’t think that’s a good sign for Fou De Toi, he’s yet to have an entry, I think? Now not in any of the 2m maidens on the first 2 days. There is the 2m4f maiden Ballyburn won 28th so we shall see.

He had one mid-end of Nov I believe

Could still show up in the 2m4 4yo maiden

But we'll see

Definitely not a good sign, Ballyburn had already had a run before the 2m4f Xmas race. If FDT was fit/not injured then you'd have fully expected an entry on the 26th/27th.

I thought he did, couldn’t remember if I imagined it or not :ROFLMAO:

Could be another who’s going 2m or 2m4f with WPM’s best 2 this year again! Glad I’ve covered the main protagonists on paper for both races at present (bar a couple to cover for Turners).

Mighty Park with an entry in a 2m maiden hurdle. He was one flagged as top of the bumper crop.

Aii caught the eye his entry

Won't get in the 2m 4yo race though - or very unlikely anyway

I'd say Leader d'allier very fair price still at 25s/33s

If he rocked up in the 4yo 2m race and won it, he'll likely be 10s or shorter.

Could you remind me what there is that makes him catch your eye. I cannot find any mention of him as ever running. Have I missed something?

You'll not find him on RP, you'll need to look on France Galop.

….Skelton re Kadastral;

‘He’s a very talented horse, we felt the improvement last year from run one to run two and we’ve seen that same improvement today as a hurdler.

“I’ll just look after him now and I don’t think you’ll see him at Cheltenham, he’s more likely to be a horse for Aintree.

“That’s not because he is not Cheltenham standard, I feel he is, but he’s a tall, quite a fraction narrow horse, and I think the right thing to do is tread carefully as a novice hurdler with the ambition to become a really good chaser.

“I’m not going to go asking him questions and find out what he can’t do, I’d rather just put him in the right races and make him the best he can be.”

He went on: “There is no doubt he’s a very nice horse and you can just see sometimes that some might be significantly better over a fence and this one is definitely in that category.

“If we are going to win a graded race, we think that will be at Cheltenham and we like him.”

Ex FR AQPS horse, won 5 on the bounce culminating in the G3 @ Vichy. Solid form from the ones in behind that have stayed in AQPS races/gone hurdling
