Anyone going to Cheltenham know a good places to go in the morning before the races for breakfast and a preview of the racing the day ahead?

Got the tweed jacket and a Rich Ricci tie so I've got the look, I just need a bit of guidance on what to back!

That is certainly 'a look' :highly_amused:

I don't know the area too well, but I went to a fairly decent place for breakfast on "the main street" where reps from the bookies are giving out 'freebies' like Ruby Walsh masks.... it was decent in their... no actual preview other than RUK being on though

The college over the road from the course always do a good breakfast, but if you're coming in from the Evesham Road way you have to stop at the rugby club at the traffic lights and then walk up the hill to the course

We usually start off at Harry Cook's. Breakfast and a pint then a slow walk up to the course.

Can't help you out with breakfast venues but I'd certainly advise you to lose the tie....

Welcome Matt. As you're new here you'll not be aware that Ista is one of the founding members of Ricci's fan club ;)

Matt Welcome - you got the link - I hope you will continue to add to the forum (or it will go).

Usually go to the weatherspoons , just off the top of end of the mall , called the rising moon i think , car park just nearby.

....... Apres is also good in the Brewery Quarter

The old restoration is a really good pub in town for a decent priced breakfast always full of racegoers

Similar to us - All Bar One (next to Harry Cook's) for breakfast and a couple of pints and the walk up. Fully recommend walking to the course from town Matt rather than the bus, at least one of the mornings if you haven't been/done this before.

Usually end up in Harry Cook's or All Bar One after racing. Stop into Montpellier if it's been a good day too
