With the news that Energumene is OFTS, El Fabiolo is as low as evs with PP/BFSB.

Betting;

El Fab 11/8
Jonbon 6-1
Edwardstone 16-1

25-1 Bar.

This race has a habit of cutting up!!!!! Think its going to be a classic and then end up with .......

Says something when a soon to be 10 year old, beaten over 63 lengths last year is 3rd fav. Looking forward to some shrewd each way plays here...

I'll have el fab fully covered if vauban does the business in the Melbourne cup.

Not one im backing atm but if forced to try and find a roughie Amarillo sky 66s, looked decent last year in winning 2 hcaps then wasn't beaten far in the Clarence house when he returned from the race with an injury aswell, that's obviously a worry whether he is over it etc i guess, but probably worse 66/1 pokes out there

When.....

C'mon, sort it out

Haha, Master Moore will improve him like Sire and Edituer just you watch!

What...... he's a jump horse.........

Soz, thought you were putting one up against Big 'V':welcoming:

Yeah, up the Haddex!!!

El fabiolo to go unbeaten 9/2 on paddys, looks alright with the energumene news

Haddex at 66/1

Yes Haddex is the only one I can find in the market at the moment. Something will come out of the woodwork though. There's one I have in mind that's not currently quoted though. I may get someone to price it up in the next few days.

11/8 is stonking value even now, should be 2s on.
Every chance Jonbon steps up and El Fabiolo os a 4s on shot on the day.
Wouldn’t be a shock if handicappers fill the places…

Just dont see Jonbon stepping up at all unless beaten. He improved after Arkle so JP isnt going for a Ryanair if hes got the second fav in the Champ Chase, personally cant see it

I’d agree, while most of us want and think Jonbon should go to the Ryanair we can’t bet off what we thinks best or what we’d like to happen and have to go off the most likely outcome and with Nicky you just know, unless beaten, he’ll be kept to 2 miles perhaps stepping up at aintree

I thought Impervious was JPs Ryanair horse for this season and with that one likely done for the year there's a void.
You may well be right that Jonbon did improve after the Arkle but so might El Fabiolo and that one put Jonbon away fairly comfortably last March.
It's obviously impossible to know at this stage but I'd have thought JP would want a chance at winning a Ryanair rather than place money in a champion chase, but I could easily be wrong...
