I'd be fairly sure HG is 2.5 or 3 myself, but he could prove me wrong.

I’ll eat my hat if he runs in the Supreme and as soon as he steps up in grade, he’ll be up in trip too. I’m still 100% in the AB camp and won’t consider him for anything else.

That's what I assumed but which other of his novice hurdlers could fill the void?? I also think Ginto will be his Albert Bartlett horse.

I don’t think Gordon will try and force a stayer to run in the Supreme just to cover the race. Ginto and Hollow Games are the proper sloggers in his Novice ranks and I’d expect Gerri Colombe and Three Stripe Life to be in the Ballymore. There may be something else in his ranks for the Supreme but I’ve not found one I’d personally back for the race.

Hollow Games, Gerri Colombe and Three Stripe Life I have backed for those races.

Also, Gordon is quite often mob handed in the middle-to-staying races purely because of the type of horse he purchases.

Three stripe life would be my idea of his supreme horse, showed a decent turn of foot the first day last season when he won his bumper.

Journey with Me being nibbled away virtually every day for Ballymore (onto 11/1 with Betway) yet majority think he's going Albert? What's the reasoning behind that?

Agree about Supreme, disagree about Bartlett. I don't think we'll see him over 3m at the festival.

the chap on here who posted up the 3 Robcour novices and their targets had Journey With Me targeted for AB , Geri in the Ballymore , Grand Jury in the Supreme, seems he works for the Robcour mob

Ahh yeah. My bad. Been through this before. Just don't see how they can say until they run but I suppose they have to have some sort of plan in place then change it as they go. Still very risky plumping for a single race though especially with cash out disappearing at the drop of a hat. Still odd how he's much lower for the Ballymore though someone's backing it. Let it all unfold.

Same, Hollow Games for the AB was my first ante post single back in January this year (56/1 Hills)

That’s commitment! Although I never back anything that early, after his second bumper run he was straight on the AB shortlist for this season.
 
I'm another one on Hollow Games for the potato race. I'm still of the thought that's the case despite Elliotts comments.

Only with a free bet currently, although I have just added him further, now we've had word from Gordon and are now discussing him here :highly_amused:

I have a small case ready to be made for him, although not as strong as say Bob Olinger, last season, but one I think has some level of encouragement that suggests he may well go for the Ballymore.
