The Boodles Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle

TE=Stormez;n294632]

Ignore this, he will either be going to Joseph or Willie, decision to be made around 6pm this evening.[/QUOTE]

Gold news. At least he'll be on the boat.

Added 2.5pts on Houx Gris. He has been abolsutely smashed up. Apparently he worked really well today, but I haven't seen it

PN Stable Tour today:

He was third in a Grade 1 at Chepstow for us on very heavy ground and won at Auteuil the time before. I probably ran him a bit too quick after we bought him, but he did run nicely. He galloped nicely this morning and off 128 in the Boodles he would have a nice chance. He's a lovely horse.

Usual pre chelt positivity you'd expect, plenty shorten off these sort of things but a fecking lottery as ever this race, folk will have beaten the price thou and that's half the battle.

Not a race I get too involved in usually. Got Balko Saint, as my main bet with Riviere and Druids Altar for peanuts.

Usually leave this until final decs and you can usually find one that has been running in graded races who places at decent odds on the day. Clemencia last year was my fancy who followed this and was 90/1 5 places on the day with Bet365.

I liked Cabot Cliffs in this due to him following the usual pattern Skelton does in this race (the Wetherby Juvenile Listed race at end of Oct/Nov) but he's ruined his mark.

I think my play for the places this year will be Historic Heart. Currently 33/1 but I'd hope for higher on the day and with more places. Same race as Balko Saint and Cabots Cliff behind Adagio and Duffle Coat. 2 pounds wrong with Balko Saint now though for an 8 length beating but his last 2 runs have been much better.

Hopefully Balko Saint comes out of the race tomorrow well and actually goes to Cheltenham.

Houx Gris still 10s with Coral if anyone wants him. 6s with WH and 7s elsewhere.

Certainly sounds like you give it some thought regardless, one of the few races I’ll have one or no darts and are happy to wait till decs/day.

Doesn’t he always?

Seen the quote now, seems usual trainer spiel surprised the horse is so short

Only problem is I had a small free bet double with Concertista to try to boost the price, so if Concertista loses i won't be able to get on at a nice price on the day unless it drifts

Looks like the yard has gambled on it to me.
They've done it before with similar types.
And won or gone very close.

Given the way the horse travelled into the Chepstow race before blowing up 128 does look potentially lenient
