Chelters 2016 Antepost bets

Would they really try NC at 3m for the first time at the fest? I know he was bought as a Stayer but surely they would like to give him a try somewhere else first?

We're told they'll try a stable leading light and unproven stayer in the Gold cup so anything's possible

What race can Vautour run in to prove he stays the Gold Cup trip.......The Gold Cup perhaps....

I think NC will bypass The Fest like you said Mayo. I'm still on the fence with that one
Mr MCG, the noise's state Gold Cup, the personal opinion is Ryanair

The contrary day 1 acca

Buveur D'air @ 9/1
L'ami Serge @ 7/1
Peace And Co @ 14/1
Polly Peachum @ 12/1

KS ran in the Champ Chase but fell very early on.

KS won a couple of Tingle Creeks, one of which came in the season of his first Gold Cup victory, but KS was probably the most versatile horse since Dessie....

I see 365 are offering without fav on the QM, Ryanair and Champ hurdle

Kauto ran against Moscow Flyer in a Champion Chase

won by Newmill

no idea what is to be learnt from this:o

I had forgotten that Kauto fell in the QM, was it just after half way at fence 12, I do remember the Tingle creek, my point was that they established him as a leading 2 miler before moving him up. Anyway I'm sure I've laboured the point enough now so Vautour runs where he runs, I have a decent bet on him in the Gold cup but will be laying some off when his price contracts, I still think there's a chance they will run him at a shorter trip, just FYI in the QM market without UDS Vautour is 4/7, but that's still nrnb

There will need to be a few of these 'without the fav' markets, three odds on shots on day one alone will mean bookies need to breathe some life into the market, without the fav is the way forward

The best odds you can get on Vautour NRNB are now 5s.

Djakadam will be a bigger price on the day.

365 also offering without fav betting on Arkle, Supreme and mares hurdle, could have a day one 4 timer now with some decent odds and disregard the obvious

Did this patent (NRNB) a few weeks ago

No. Selections Event Event Date E/W Terms Odds Result
1 Vautour Cheltenham Gold Cup
(Win And Each Way) 18/03/2016 3 Places
1/4 Odds 7/1 To Run
2 Vroum Vroum Mag Ryanair Chase
(Win And Each Way) 17/03/2016 3 Places
1/4 Odds 12/1 To Run
3 Nichols Canyon World Hurdle
(Win And Each Way) 17/03/2016 3 Places
1/4 Odds 10/1 To Run

That has the potential to be a very nice bet in 6 weeks time OV

I've got a win trixie of:

Thistlecrack 25/1 World Hurdle
VVM 14/1 Ryanair
Shantou Village 12/1 Neptune :sorrow:

Id say the full NRNB is another couple of weeks away. A bit easier then.

Thistlecrack at 25/1?!? Very, very nice... Hope VVM runs in the Ryanair for you now :encouragement:

I backed Ballynagour yesterday for the Ryanair at 25/1 with 365 and he is now 12's. Someone must have lumped on and it wasn't me.
