Kev tried 4 times to donate a one off, I'm not technically gifted but can usually bank through my phone but kept getting a failure.

Wishing you every success in the new role Kev. I'm the first to acknowledge that my contribution is a little "in and out" but I'm always lingering and do hope that one day the pressures of life allow me the opportunity to be a more sustained contributor! In the meantime giving a little financially every month is the least I can do.

I don't know if anyone else would agree, and it would be completely reliant on enough money being raised from here. However, if we've got enough money leftover once Kev / OV have been reimbursed, to the point that we're making a charity donation - could this donation be split in half so we could make 1 to a racing related charity, and the other 1 could be to any charity of DG's Tipping competitons choosing?

I doubt anyone would have an issue with this ryan and if this can be achieved it would be great but, as you’ve alluded to, annual running costs for the forum are significant and need covering first. There has been a great response to
Kevloaf original post/request, all contributors should be applauded, and I know Kev was quite emotional at the positive comments and donations but there’s some way to go before reimbursement can be made to OV for the upgrade and this years costs are covered, of course we would all love for a donation to be made to a couple of great racing charities, let’s hope we can make that happen.

Hopefully there’ll be a number of members who have a great festival and will be happy to add a one off amount to the kitty as recognition of the help this forum has been to their P&L...

That's OK Kev a small price to pay for the knowledge and information I get from here. Just one thought - when I was considering being a patron I was just a bit wary as to whether I would be asked for a sizeable sum, as far as I can see there is no information available before you press the 'become a patron' link, would it be worthwhile adding something like 'from ?5 per month'? Maybe would encourage more members to contribute? Anyway keep up the fantastic work & lets all have a great festival!

Maybe but when I do the accounting I want to know where the money has come from - they can private message me and if they don't want it putting on here that's fine, of course :)
