The Boodles Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle

Me aswell Saxon, with joseph getting back to some sort of form
I think Palm Beach could be interesting.

Just backed him.

Also noticed PP had priced up Gordon'a Filly, Riviere Detel @16-1, which although she may be better than this race (triumph) and may also run against her own sex (older mares) at the festival, there is also a chance she runs here, especially if Zanayhir (same owners) is still big Fav in the triumph.

She also beat fuck all, by miles the last day, and a midfield run in a graded race next time (or another win in a less competitive affair), added to her previous run in France, would make her allocated mark interesting.
Anything under 140 and there's a chance, but lower than 135 and I think Gordon would run here.

16-1 NRNB is a very decent price.

I asked them to price that one up, but was disappointed with 16s.
She is a 4yo mare so could go the MNH with the age allowance.

....plenty of Oddschecker blue for Houx Gris for this.

Ran well until going out like a light when the front two went on.

He is 130, so may need to show a bit more to get in.
One more run, maybe?

I'm on the same opinion Quevega, and that is a very decent price.

Declared over 1m4f at Dundalk tomorrow.

That's quite intriguing. As he's already had 3 runs and earned a mark, are they keeping him ticking over by having a flat run whilst avoiding him going up any higher ? I'm clearly clutching at straws here. After all, he's the only horse I've had a bet on in this so he has to be the winner right??

IMO Glorious Zoff is a fun horse and no chance of running at Cheltenham

Ha, yeah I think you're right based on that entry!

Life is a lemon :lemo: and I want my money back!

I can't believe I've never said that on here before!

4.5 years and 20k posts and I’ve never twigged that...

I only backed Glorious Zoff on Saxons advice but have just spent the last hour looking at him in more detail. His maiden win jumps right out at you. He absolutely sauntered to victory beating a horse called Crassus by an easy 12 lengths (could easily have been doubled). Crassus was the evens fav on the day on the back of running a big race 5 days earlier when not yet asked a serious question when falling two out in a race won by Zanahiyr of all horses. He was upsides the now Triumph fav and going just as well when getting the Hurdle wrong. On that piece of related form alone, Glorious Zoff would have a glorious chance off his current rating in the Boodles. I then wondered why he was running on the all weather in Ireland tomorrow and it's clear to me now that , as a light framed neat little horse, they don't want to/need to run him on desperate winter ground and possibly bottom him out. He's the only bet I've placed on the race and I'm now very happy with that as he has a hell of a chance ! Cheers Saxon !........again !!
