Hostile Fire is the Elliott plot horse. Flaxon Flare connections etc.
 
So what about Abbyssial, he was all over Kitten Rock when he fell two out, under Paul Townend I think, had he stayed upright there wouldn't have been much in them and Abbyssial could well have won, he wouldn't be anywhere near 16's for the coral cup than

A talented animal but my outstanding memory of this horse is that he ended Ruby's Cheltenham last year. Jumping looks like his weak point ?

Jumping defo a negative but he certainly travels well into a race, if he can get over that last couple of hurdles he's sure to win something at a big price, the run against Kitten Rock entitles him to respect, especially with several tipping that one to run well in the champion, personally i think he's been lucky the last twice.
 
Everyone, please post any more suggestions you have...?

Tomorrow will be my last day online until 9th March so I won't be able to study them.
 
Moon Racer was one for day 2 selection but I put one up for the Bumper in the members forum.

Let me know your thoughts and whether we should stick with Moon Racer.
 
LR id prefer Moon Racer but yours has been backed so not a strong preference.

Starchitect and Nyzana two possibilities for Fred Winter.

I prefer MR as well before I got this call from a reliable source.

Anyway, MR it is because this is the FJ members Yankee and I cannot suggest for this day being a judge. :)

I will look into your Fred Winter suggestions when I get back tonight.
 
Ok guys, I have gone through your suggestions and have the following selected for our day 2 Yankee, I didn't have many big priced suggestions to choose from other than a few Fred Winter suggestions, so not much e/w value with 1 & 2 but are solid bets.


1. Kings Palace – RSA (could not see Southfield Theatre winning this)
2. Champagne Fever – QM
3. Arabian Revolution - Fred Winter (could have picked PG for Neptune but don't think Bloomfield's can have 2 winners same day)
4. Moon Racer – Bumper

Haha, really fancy Southfield for this if he gets good ground. I like the Champers and MR selections, and will trust in the judgement of this thread for the Fred winter. Fingers crossed for this Yankee.

I have to go with Kings Palace for RSA.

There has been too many debates with the other top contenders on which race they will run in etc, where KP has been focused on this race all day long.

Yeah I know what you mean Tenty, I just see KP as a more classier chaser than ST.

The Fred Winter was tough for me. So many plots with everyones suggestions, so I chose AR over his genuine runs especially a couple lengths behind Beltor while giving weight. Zarib was only two and half lengths ahead of Bivouac who then was also 14L behind P&C and then same 14L behind Beltor, so I couldn't have him. Starchitect also 19L behind Peace and Co. So I based AR on form hoping he will handle the track.
