RSA Chase 2020

Can understand that logic but hope he doesn’t. Would be an antepost nightmare for me!

Gigginstown 3m chaser pecking order could be in for a shake up if Samcro steps up. I had Champagne Classic down for the 4 miler but he looks pretty good and i have reservations they wont aim higher with him. We know they have no problem aiming two at the RSA and injury might make a difficult decision easier, but if all make it fit and well something will go up to 4 miles. Based on what we've seen this season I may have to reluctantly concede its BOD. I hope not and the jury is till out on that one. Be interesting to see where they are all placed next time out and what Gordon says re their plans.

I've always had the opinion that BoD will go for the 4 miler, you need pace to win an RSA, we haven't seen this from BoD this season yet.

Yep some juggling to be done it seems.

If Samcro goes 3, whos 2 1/2 for them...

Big misconception about the race. Tell that to Don slowly :)

1 in a million that horse :highly_amused:

Loved him. Certainly made me lots of money (and cost a few times:)). My point is that lots of RSA winners are completely devoid of pace.

Santini didn’t do too badly last season as well

They may step him up before Cheltenham but JLT on soft ground, stiff course, time between fences and that monster of a hill will be perfect in my opinion.

Looks like DAZZLING Danny Whizbang will go to the grade 1kauto star. He will then warm up for the RSA in the Reynoldstown grade 2 at Ascot. By this point he is likely to be odds on for the RSA.

I agree. Be interesting what they do next

Was at Newbury on Henn day. Thought he looked big in the paddock so was surprised how easily he won. He could be anything.

His neck was thicker than Reserve Tank and the other ones put together. Absolute monster. The alpha in the pack.

I was talking more about his belly but yeah, he's a beast alright. Would encourage anyone to get him onside in the RSA.

There is no way I'm not going to try and get Samcro in the book for the RSA!

I was arguing until my fingers were blue summer 2018 that he'd be an RSA horse and I'm annoyed at myself that I haven't already got him covered when it was always going to be a possibility!

I'm shocked that with the page after page of complete speculation regarding Envoi Allen's target, that people aren't more interested in this horse and where he might be going when we've got actual words to go on!

I'd love to see him in this race, free up Laurina for that JLT too

Laurina JLT / Samcro RSA perhaps.

I saved this thread until last, I'm excited :highly_amused:

Laurina arkle. Maybe fakir will step back up to the JLT (where samcro still might be) if/ when she beats him well in the racing post novice chase.

Theyre both priced as if she meets him there.

Yep could well be.

Any combination could well be exciting - not the kind of bets you like but I do.

They always look great the weekend before and I was only Finian's Oscar away from landing a beautiful amount one year so I'll keep trying :)
