Described by Rhys Williams on Twitter as 'sauntering to a 25-length win in the mixed open'...sounds like it was the perfect warm up spin round before the big one
 
I have been suckered in myself but is Stand Up And Fight the worst favourite of the meeting?

I can see it drifting massively, possibly double figures.

On favoured good ground it probably has something to find even allowing for another mediocre renewal. At this stage it seems it isn't going to any quicker than good to soft and a fair chance it will be softer than that.
 
Does anyone know the form for Irish Anthem? Three wins but nothing on Racing Post. Not sure why?

No.... hear he is flying. Wasn’t right for his PTP run and came back with a snotty nose..... Could get smashed up

I heard similar. Bad ground would be a worry for me though.

Mark Johnston on I.T.V racing just put up S.U.and F. , he's supposedly the Foxhunter expert ??. say's
it could be a star . like Salsify etc.

It was the Fav, that didn;t stay.
 
It was some work he did at the Curagh that was apparently very good

He knows his Hunter chasers but, like any punter, he isn't going to be right all the time.
 
After todays impressive performance it puzzles me why they pulled out Fenno's Storm in this, would have had a great chance.

He did.

I led the BA fan club last year. Backed him from 12s all the way down. Was adamant he was the next big thing for the hunter chasing game. He travelled like the machine I thought he was. But he didn’t stay.

big fan of them both but they never put their horse into the race unfortunately. Whether they thought the leaders were going to come back to them I'm not sure but S. Waley cohen certainly wouldnt send one off at breakneck speed. Definitely cant make up the best of 30 - 40 lengths in any race.
