National Hunt Chase (4 miler) 2019

Not really, its just a statement, three very more runs from the three in behind. As I say, good luck if you are on it, good luck to us all.

The form of that Warwick race is now looking suspect, good luck if you are on OK Corral.....

Something to consider if you've missed the prices I suppose :)

A race I always leave until the day, but I wouldn't back OK Corral, based on the form of that race, its pretty obvious, three in behind have been very poor. Good luck and I mean that, but I do hope your 33s has an EW associated with it!

I can't imagine Kev is wishing he left it till the day, his book is perfect.

I'd say it would be a bit hasty to rule his chances out based on that remark
White Moon has not really ran a good race yet.
Secret Investor wasn't really beaten too far, in what could have been a decent race.
And I'm pretty sure Rocky's treasure has not ran to his mark today.

And finally, Ok Corral won that race with plenty in hand.

And leaving this race till the day is a big error as the horses at the top of the market have been easy to find for many on here at much bigger prices.

Ok Corral wins this race as easy as he likes IMO
and I'm on most of the dangers at big prices so don't really care.

I love your confidence Quevega, hope it goes it for you. If you think those three horses ran well, then fine, I just don't.

I don't think you hope that do you ?
I didn't say they ran well.

Why do you leave it until the day?

One of the easier races to predict ante post in my opinion?

The form of Ok Corral''s race might not be working out great but he did win it easily and I'm not sure he'd have struggled against many other contenders that day.

....so grateful folk were all over predicting Rathvinden for this last year @ 20-1 as well as MS Parfois at similar prices. 1st and 2nd. Glad I got on early, as well as having the Exacta and Rathvinden at that price with Mohaayed in a double.

Surely if ever there’s an ante-post race, it’s this one.

Would you not be worried that OK Corral races very keenly. I'd be concerned that he won't stay if I was holding any tickets. As I'm not, good luck to all, although I'll be cheering on Ballyward & The Disco.

Yeah, I'd say this and gold cup are easiest. Excluding the mares, bumper and triumph before anyone says:devilish:

Good question, its a race I have always struggled with, especially as I have averaged 20 winners over the past 2 years. Just something I have fallen into and will keep on doing so. Look, it could still win this race and good luck to anything who has backed it, especially at 33s, I can see why they would react so poorly to my original comments. Have obviously looked at the race and at present, I am going with Champagne Classic, but after 10 pints in the Guiness Village and hopefully, a great first day, I will probably end up backing the soddin thing!!! Good luck to all, it is a game of opinions Kevloaf.

You have averaged 20 out of 28 winners? I take it this is the only race you leave until the day.

Out of interest, which races did you not have the winner last year?

I sincerely hope you are now living somewhere like Barbados. 20 out of 28 past two years is stuff dreams are made of. Unless of course you have an average of ten running for you in every race.

No, The mares hurdle, the Bumper and The Foxhunters.

I had 20 last year.
Losers, 1) Festival Handicap (2nd), Mares, bloody Apples Jade, National Hunt Chase (LOL), Novice Handicap Chase (2nd and 3rd), Coral Cup (3rd), Fred Winter, Bumper and Albert Bartlett, noticed OK Corral was second.....LOL.... Went through the card on Thursday and almost did the same Friday. As for where I am, sadly, still in my flat, but a lot richer!!!

LOL, no, always start with one major fancy and then work around it. By Friday, I was going over the top, but I could do so. I have had many bad times, so you have to enjoy it when you can.

I was very keen on Ballyward but after reading the W Mullins stats for fallers at the Festival I have eased away and concentrated on his hurdling horses instead. I’m going Discorama can get the job done.

Going for the horse that fell behind Ballyward the last time because of faller stats?

Been on the Guinness today?

Feel free to post this years selections up beforehand on the antepost bets thread :)
