Supreme Novice Hurdle 2019

Vision D'Honneur being cut for the dublin race and Klassical being cut for the supreme.

"We have four in the Grade 1 Novice Hurdle over 2 miles. Aramon (Paul) has done nothing wrong this season and is a course and distance winner. Prince D’Aubrelle (David) has lots of ability but lacks experience for a race like this. Elixir D’Ainay (Jody McGarvey) was second at Punchestown a few weeks ago and that run is good enough to justify running here. We will see today how much he has improved. Klassical Dream (Ruby) was very good over the course and distance at Christmas and should improve on that here. If he does, he must have a real good chance"

I still don't understand EDA running with no Cheltenham entries. 14-months off the track. Could improve past them all if he's as good as they thought.

Unusual.
But Maybe they think they have something in there he's very unlikely to beat. And like klassical dream last year, would be running in grade 1s for valuable experiance without shedding his novice tag.

What price klassical dream if he wins well?

7/2 4/1

Same price vision d'honneur would likely be aswell if he did the business

Same for VD and Aramon. Whoever wins will be around that price.

I don't think aramon would be personally. As you'd assume the other 2 wasn't as good as hoped. You can see aramons level.

I think the value is in backing him to win here at 11/4 and rolling it all over to the Supreme

I don’t see him getting to below 3/1 but would say he has to win here to win at Chelts

Paddy’s & Sportsbook offer 25s for the double, either KD or VD. 33s for Aramon.

What if kD VD + entoucas pull clear. Bad jump at the last and a neck in it.

That's always my issue with those bets.

Same as the doubles like offered above.

Billy’s have a book on winning at DRF & any festival race. 28s KD boosted to 31. Some big prices there for the likes of COF, Dunvegan, Wonder Laish to name but a few. Take your point on the close finish scenario but it’s the comfortable win that I’m interested in covering and 30splus seems worth the risk IMO.

I don't particularly fancy them to win the 1st but its a race big in numbers but looks a race lacking much quality. So if anyone whos a fan of them for the mares novice. The 50s and 66s look big on Salsaretta and relegate

Thanks for highlighting this guys. Took the risk on two I missed the bigger prices on but really want onside...Le Richebourg 18/1 and Delta Work 11/1.

fair bets i'd say. LR needs to be winning this well to win an Arkle. The only downside I can see would be tipping up at the last when well clear, but hasn't looked like it so far. DW at risk of a tactical race against LBAR, but the Flogas is usually well run
