Never meant to cause offence. Thread deleted.

Anybody else think Willie needs to shut down his yard for a couple of weeks and find out what is making them run so poor. They are not just getting beat they are being thrashed. Money keeps coming for them but something is clearely amiss and it can not just be down to a lack of rain.

Honestly, no.

Do you know something is wrong that we don't?

Early contender for daftest thread of the year , apologies for being cynical but who are we to question the great man . Come Lepo all will be back to normal

This isn’t a good thread.

I would, exceptionally politely, moot that the thing that closes should be this thread imo

It's a topical question JJ,
but if I were you
"I'd get my coat"

The lack of rain isn’t affecting those who are running; it just means he’s got a lot of blooming good horses stood in their boxes doing nowt. Could be a lot of horses go to Cheltenham off the back of one run this year

To be fair, some are definitely running below par but it seems to be mainly the bumpers and novices where they don't have a proper line on where they should be in terms of proven ability. If you look at the weekend races, Blazer ran on strongly enough in the Dan Moore and, in the Moscow Flyer, Harrie ran on strongly after being outpaced whereas Buildmeupbuttercup was too bad to be true. Even today, the mare hung on gamely but the bumper folded tamely.

Absolutely no grounds for closing the yard but caution recommended for betting purposes.

^^ bit harsh on him.

Perhaps the question would have been better phrased to discuss the form of Mullins runners at the moment.

Maybe he just doesn't have a great crop this year & Elliot has the cream.. If Mullins thought for one second he had a big problem in the yard it would be closed and the public would know also, whispers go around.. Just because he is an amazing trainer doesn't mean his horses every season will be.

Cant see sweet FA wrong with the thread.James just came out with what he is thinking so no need to shoot him down for it is there?
On top of that trainers have been known to shut up shop when alls not well at home.

Eagerly awaiting carefully selected cilaos emery and Chante Neige going be a weird Cheltenham if there’s no rain soon

Ista.If he does its a shame cause hes entitled to his view without people jumpping on him for it

There are some running below par, and quite a few after stewards examination found to be "blowing hard"- is that fitness? i haven't a clue.

Closing yard is a tad daft- he's still getting winners. that mare today will prove decent.

I don't disagree somer, but there's a level of respect that should be adhered to in every discussion and one or two have viewed his original (subsequently deleted) comment as potentially disrespectful.
JJ can decide....

A few have been reported to be coughing but that's to be expected with a yard his size. A lot of them will need the run and you'd hope they come on for it. He's still well ahead in the trainers title.

Whilst I didn't have a problem with the question being put out there, I do think it's a bit over the top getting Judge Judy to adjudicate on the matter, don't you think Ista!
