Arkle 2019

Just to note, if he's entered and runs at fairyhouse at the weekend.

Last 2 winners saturnas and ballyoision.

That's a mighty coincidence that they've pushed ALL mullins and elliots other runners out in the betting, and cut cilaos emery just BEFORE entries are even out.

What a coincidence.

Think they will need some rain there for him to run, there’s hardly any forecast unfortunately

Ground probably didn't help Master Dino with his action. Can see why they are cautious with the ground like it is.

Ruby walsh.

We’ve still a lot of novices that haven’t run yet due to the dry ground as there’s not a whole lot of form on offer. There’s only nine weeks left to go until Cheltenham and while they can go there without runs – it does muddy the water for everyone.

There’s no substitute that racing brings in terms of fitness and match practice, so hopefully something will give in the next few weeks.

We’ve loads of horses ready to go but there’s nothing we can do about the weather.

The longer it stays dry – the quicker the ground gets.

Naas was quicker than Leopardstown and Punchestown and Fairyhouse could be quicker again this weekend because it’s so mild"

Again this maybe a stupid question but why are no tracks taking the initiative and watering, you could set yourself as being the place for a fair few good horses making their debut

Hardly fair for good ground horses?

No it’s not, but rather than have a below average card why not go against the grain and try and entice some of the bigger names who we haven’t seen yet?

If one track did it there’s a huge financial gain at stake with increased crowds - this is a pretty unique season so far in regards to lack of genuine soft ground. I’d have thought somebody somewhere may try and think outside the box and be proactive

Turn on the taps I say. If this becomes a long term trend racecourses will have to adapt.

I see 365 have followed Paddy and cut Cilaos Emery, a few extra marks to 14/1. I wonder has someone got wind that he is definitely running at Fairyhouse on Saturday regardless of the going...

Bookies are just cutting for fun now. They're probably worried they don't have 2/1 favs like normal at this time of year. JLT market with Dino injury was a joke.

We Will see if they're just cutting for fun when he hits the track. Id have him alot shorter than what they have him now on my tissue

100 % no doubt.
Had him fav on my tissue from start of season.

Interesting, what factors do you take in, just horse ability?

While i've backed him i'd find it hard to price up a market where a Footpad could appear unexpectedly. Also the fact he hasn't run over a fence, and hasn't been seen in over a year??
