Big statement! I’m way more interested next year and he’ll be one of the first on my RSA list. I hope he doesn’t win all this season otherwise his price will be lousy :devilish:

Cant see any of those going Pertemps Scooby. You'd have to qualify first.

They did the same with Jury Duty the year before - ran it in the qualifier at Chepstow at the end of Feb. If memory serves me correct, Gordon gave it as one of his bets at an early preview night & when told it wasn’t qualified, replied “... it will be after Saturday!”
 
was very pleased with Champ winning the G1 Challow Hurdle at Newbury last Saturday and he’s come out of the race in great form. I think the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle is where we’ll work back from so we’ll have a look at the race on Festival Trials day at Cheltenham on 26th January as a likely next target

Has anyone tried to get Come To Me requested in the Ballymore with 365 or sky?

Seems odd as the 3rd fav for the Lawlors he'd not even be quoted.
 
Brewin'upastorms debut win franked again, now both the 3rd & 4th have come out and won since then.

He was my first bet for this race preseason and I hope I’ve not been too hasty in cashing him in. I still do not think he’ll reverse the form of the Challow though and that’s before you throw in the strong Irish contingent.

Yep, although March will be a different track and different day, and you never know - it franks Champ even more.
He's My Nap for the festival outside the obvious as long as he don't get too excited and pull his chance away (need to keep the screaming Mccoy child away from it) death curdling

I think he's a solid shout for a festival win, I'm just not convinced (yet) that it will be here.

But If I think about it I'd fancy him in all three novices
 
I'm against Champ. Don't like his ungainly rounded action. Surprised if he wins at Cheltenham glad he's making the market.

Can see the appeal for this race but would prefer to see a 7 year old with the profile he has in the Albert Bartlett myself. Holding out on (hopefully) a decent price NRNB for that, best so far on offer is 5's.

Fair enough, everyone has to take a view, as we all do with particular horses.
But if it's your main reason to be against him
what does 'ungainly rounded action' actually mean ?
And which horse/horses are you comparing it too ?
And why don't you like it ?
I think it looks lovely
 
Just look at his action, it's not lineal. I expect him to have injury issues going forward. I think he would be better in the AB and I will oppose him in this.
 
I like Champ but I couldn't back him in this. Just don't see him settling well enough even in a true run race. I would actually prefer to back Getaway Trump to reverse the form. However, I think we may see the Ballymore winner in Ireland tomorrow.
 
could be tomorrow delsie, or on the 10th @ Clonmel.
Clonmel's looking doubtful now so it'll be the Dublin Festival for Dunvegan.
