A NRNB price for the JLT might tempt me. I don't like her for the RSA still but she's proven better than I thought.

I actually liked her before this season, didn't think she had the class for grade 1s against the boys but can't knock her now

Yes, when interviewed after the race.

The best thing to happen here, would be for GE to re-route Delta Work to the JLT (which won't happen) :grumpy:
 
Santini had the best closing sectionals on the card yesterday ... better than the handicap and the King George.

Unlikely but not impossible, one of champagne classic/ delta work could go there. Depending how the former gets on.

It's purely because my 'Any Race' bet on DW is put to better use in the JLT, and like last year, seems a much more winnable race than the RSA at present.
 
I don't win 'enough' on Delta Work in this race at the moment.

Iv a suspiciously good hand for this race. Staking is all good as i took a strong view early, I don't think I need to back another. But iv the strange feeling like the triumph last year. A farclas is coming from somewhere.

Got round to watching the race from yesterday. As others have said Santini's run was at least encouraging, stayed on really well and the sectional was impressive at the end, you would expect Cheltenham to suit him far more and to me he seemed to be better jumping later in the race at a bit more speed. Great from La Bague Au Roi yesterday, been a big fan of this mare for a while and was on her yesterday as she just suits tracks like Kempton, but for all that I just don't think I can back her for Cheltenham I don't think it suits her at all and her spring record just adds more concern to that, but that being said can't knock anyone for being on at 22s its a good bet based upon that run!

It's a decent bet. IF she turns up.

Based on comments after (especially from RJ), I would say that is extremely doubtful.

I'm quite often wrong though! :disgust:

I still fancy TWE in the 4 miler. I'd give him every chance.
I assume that's where he'll go.

topofthegame travelled like best horse in race all the way round , but got outstayed or outbattled whichever way you want to look at it.

I look at him and see a big baby hulk of a horse still developing , still filling out into his massive frame. He going to be something special next year.

With that in mind if he was mine , id be wanting to look after him a little and send him to the easier JLT whereby he would win. The RSA can be savage and I dont think he ready for it.

La bague au roi is an unlikely runner. I still don't mind having he on the off chance, and she certainly owes me nothing this year. But for reference if anyone was thinking of backing her for anything.

Already on at 25s but
Top of the game is far too big for this at 12s isn't he.?

This looks likely to be delta works last run before the RSA

Don poli. no more heroes. And shattered love (jlt) all went straight there after this.

100% I can’t understand why PP/Betfair pushed him out after the Kauto Star.

Expecting Delta Work to put up a bold show here now!
