November Forum Yankee

Plenty of time for that Scooby. You'll get them from me when I'm ready.

Your method of staking is different to mine. I'm not interested in backing 20 horses at long odds with a vain hope of holding a winning ticket(triumph last year:triumphant:).

As for ITCF, I told you all last year he was a sentimental over bet horse, and so it proved. Laying him proved very fruitful for me last year. I put up my 2 lays of the festival, Sam Spinner & ITCF.

ITCF missed the festival through injury though? Not sure that makes you a soothsayer, being honest!

I think that point would be lost. Poor taste imo.
I was sat on tickets of 120.0 100.0 for the supreme and 25s any race. How de we know he wouldn't have won the supreme on what we've seen this season? For all we know he could finish infront of summerville boy in the Christmas hurdle. They're not all going to be superstars.

You’re acting like he ran in the Supreme and finished a 30 lengths last.

I had him from before the season started at 50s and 33s. He shortened to 5/1 favourite before his injury. And here’s you boasting that he was a lay when he only didn’t run (and very possibly win) because of an unlikely injury.

Are we saying Lalor and Malone Road are both in then?

Two more to find..

With Santini (RSA) and Willoughby Court (Ryanair) both set to return this weekend, we could add them to Lalor and Malone Road?

I think the basis for his arguement was that someone like Harry Fry couldn't train the winner of a Supreme. Then gloating when ITCF missed the race through injury, as of it proved the point:confused:

I dont normally have strong opinions on this but think Malone Road a very brave call. I'd prefer any of Scoobys.

I’m not hugely convinced by Willoughby Court.

The other 3, I am very content with.

How about Adjali in the Triumph? Or Tiger Roll (a horse I rarely get right) in the X-C

Adjali is in plenty for me for a horse I've not seen but had the potential to shrink. Bit of a punt but an educated one. Is be happy with him

Id like him in also.

I’d be happy with any of the four already mentioned or Ajkali.

Four from five then lads. Let’s vote again. Four votes each from:
Lalor
Malone Road
Santini
Willoughby Court
Ajkali

I’ll go for Lalor, Malone Road, Santini and Ajkali

I like this 4 also, I just can’t see WC going to Cheltenham after the quotes from the owners last year

I'll go with this too

Same for me:
Lalor, Malone Road, Santini and Ajali

(We have Willoughby Court in the May Yankee, so if there are doubts about participation - no need to "ruin" two yankees this early. We can always go in again nearer the time if things look more positive)

Santini hasn't run yet and is way too short note before we see him isn't he?!

I know its a forum yankee but everybody must already have Santini at a better price and this could look horrible by Saturday, let alone March. Strong division to be taking the price now?

Santini is priced like he's already ran this year and impressed, And he hasn't.

Might be worth putting Bedrock in at current price 40-1 as that may look good after Saturday if he runs well again, especially on soft ground, as he's clearly fast and better on a better surface, he'll start to look a really likely contender. Even being beat a few lengths on Saturday I'd be interested.

Does he not go to America after this.

Surely if he runs well they'll have a go at Christmas and then March, but have they categorically said what the plan is ?

Are you voting WC over Santini then Kev?
