I'll be disappointed if he doesn't finish 3rd but it takes a leap of faith to think he can beat Native River or Might Bite today, never mind both of them.
 
Thought Thistlecrack ran an encouraging race. Certainly finished his race better than had been the case recently. If he could put a slicker round of jumping he could have a squeek come Cheltenham. I'm not on but 40-1 seems a fair price.
 
Gold Cup is wide open. Native River and Might Bite look like damaged goods now.
 
The gold cup ruins alot of horses, may have just nackered Might Bite, NR ran a fine race in 2nd i thought
 
The only thing I’m taking from that is the Gold Cup is likely on its way over to Ireland this year.
 
connections of Presenting Percy will be very excited after watching that.
 
I've dutched Al Boum Photo 33/1 and Bellshill 25/1. Both have potential to shorten.
 
I think bellshill will come over for the King George and is a solid yardstick
 
Ruby said it's their main Gold Cup horse. Wanted bigger than 25/1 but It will do.

It's too early to identify the individual horse but the stats are heavily in favour of the winner next March being one of last season's novices. For what it's worth, I just have this feeling that Presenting Percy is farther along the maturity road than some of the others and wouldn't be keen on his price either at this stage.

Presenting Percy is the best staying chaser in Ireland by a country mile, not my words but Gordon Elliott at the Betfair Chelters preview night.I hope he is right.

I really hope monalee, Alboum photo, shattered love and PP all meet in the Lexus once they've had there prep. I think a few people might be suprised of what a few more runs and another season to mature does . The RSA was presenting percy's 17th run of his life.
Compare that to Alboum photo 8th run. Monalee12th run. There's plenty of improvement to come. The price difference is outrageous. And iv already happily availed to take advantage of that.

Good stats. I know Rathvinden has been talked about as a National horse but wouldn’t rule him out either if they targeted it. His price on betfair suggests he isn’t going this way though.
