I'm going to be against Getabird tomorrow. Paloma Blue looks like a brilliant ew bet to me at 5/1.
Backed it three times. Betfair Sportsbook have pushed it out to 11/2 but after a difficult couple of weeks will stick at that.
If it wasn't for the threat of rain it would be a straight win bet. I think he is just a (much) better horse than Getabird. Russell was just wary of him getting up the hill at Cheltenham and couldn't peg the front three back.
Hopefully, Getabird doesn't get handed the ridiculously easy lead he got last time. That proved very little. Vision Des Flos wants a strong pace and Beyond The Law goes forward so tactically the favourite is in trouble.
Even if he wins impressively Paloma Blue will be winning the Arkle next year. Far more scope than the likely opposition.

I can't see how he finishes out of the three and, like you say, Getabird won't be getting an easy least tomorrow.
Added a Canadian:
Paloma Blue 9/2
Western Boy 14/1
Jury Duty 16/1
Ballyward 7/1
Road to Respect 2/1
Unfortunately I don’t see UDS being involved at all in this, I’ve no doubt that Doctor Phoenix would have beaten him. Cheltenham, Fairyhouse and now Punchestown is almost certainly one too far.
Incredible how all the messing around with targets goes out the window when the trainers title is on the line!
Just the 1 race of financial interest for me tomorrow on an interesting card.
Alboum photo 5/1 1pt ew
Iv always liked him hes a real fighter and can pull a race out the bag with sheer determination, hes priced fairly
This is his trip IMO and with a clean round, which isn't a given and needs to be taken into consideration. he'd have every chance.
shattered love 2pts ew 7/1.
She should be somewhere between 7/2 And 4/1 for this Imo. Jumps beautifully travels very well, ticks all the boxes. Very keen on her here. Shes Considerably over priced and has every chance.
And just the one Wednesday. JETZ 14/1 ew in the 3 mile novice He's a solid hardy horse, stays well. Needs holding right up with one late rattle. He will win a big one before long over 3m+ just needs riding accordingly. .
Faugheen stayers hurdle 9/1 ew nrnb.
Can't let him go unbacked on what is likely to be his final start. He's not without a chance. He likes punchestown, the step up may help. If he still has the desire to win, it could be a memorable moment. I'll be wanting him to run well that's for sure. And hope he can do himself proud. There's no way he goes off at 9/1 that's for certain.
