Flat Racing - Thoughts please

I thought the 12 field limit was the initial re-start plan to ensure social distancing was possible, this has to be under constant review and will be amended as soon as there’s enough evidence 14/15/16 etc pose no additional risk.
Interesting that racing resumed in Denmark (today ?) and was abandoned after 1 race on police orders as social distancing wasn’t being met...

Just read Henderson will be campaigning Verdana Blue on the flat this year. I haven’t backed her but at double the price of Goshen (20/1) she would represent much better value for the Ebor imo. She would need to win a race beforehand. 4-5 pound rise would be perfect.
If Ascot is on they are possibly looking at the Queen Alexandra. That could be interesting as she will get her Mares allowance.

Been through the French card and had a go in the 5f sprint 9:55. Sestillo Jet is probably just about the right fav but 5/2 is way too short for me. He’s a 5f specialist and sets a decent standard but he’s been well beaten on both seasonal reappearances. 2nd fav Gold Vibe is also consistent in group company but he’s never won at 5f and also seems to run poor on reappearance (beaten last 4 seasons) I like the look of DUHAIL 9/1 Skybet. ran very well last time in a hot race over 6f so only concern is he wants that trip but I think he could have a class edge (possibly group 1 horse of the future) over these so might get away with 5f. At 9/1 I think he’s worth a bet. Also played FORZA CAPITANO 12/1 skybet. Form hit and miss but won on reappearance last two years. Probably another who’s ideal trip is 6f but was beaten a short head in a listed over 5f and this does look a weak group 3.

Have had a few darts today

9:55 - Duhail 11/2
11:25 - Twist 17/4. Form with VL, Cyrstal on board too take off a few lbs.
11:55 - Victor Lodorum (And backed for the French 2000) - only one had a good bet on today. Should be a class above
12:25 - Hard to split Tropbeau and Khay but went with Tropbeau. Maybe Khay will need the run more & Tropbeau's form on the ground reads well.
1:05 - Sottsass. Should win but vulnerable first time out as seen twice previously

Hoping to see something special from VL.

I never look at prices the day/night before as I’m a big believer betting before a fully formed market is one of the biggest ways to lose your accounts, the upside of course is you grab the value.
If you win a fortune I suggest you throw in a mug losing football bet from Belarus or Tajikistan...
