I’m all over Chelsea Cloisters at 5/1 down for the Queen Mary. She’s gonna piss up lads.

Also really like Dreamfield in the Wokingham and took the 9/2 NRNB on him. That’s a group horse in a handicap. I expect him to win and then run a big race in the July cup.

A fair comment about price and he may be bigger on morning of race.
Yeah fair enough! Not a race I've looked at in any depth at all yet, but going to have a couple of hours now.

Keep getting distracted by the gold... had a decent bet on Justin Rose and he's in the mix which would be a smashing. My gold betting is the only sport I'm in the red for over the past 6 months and I'm hoping he can put that right

That 5/1 is long gone. Price based on the WW hype now you think MoM?

Dreamfield I'll be adding at some point, for the reason you state.

Is anyone particularly bullish on one in the match up between Battash / Lady Aurelia ?

I'm on the 9/1 double quoted above but actually prefer LA. Not sure whether to back her though at 9/4.

£499 staked on Royal Ascot now.

Strongest fancy is Fairyland in the Albany.

I see Hydrangea is going for the Duke of Cambridge rather than take on Cracksman, so feel confident about her too.

I'm hoping Frank Hickey is right with Shahnaza in the Diane tomorrow.... she rolls on to Fairyland

I've jumped on the Frank Hickey bandwagon with this one and backed her today and the Arc.

I have a feeling that Sergei Prokofiev will miss the Coventry which will be a blow to my Ante Posts. Find out shortly I guess.

What is everyone's NAP, lay and best longshot?

                NAP: Sun Maiden - Ribblesdale
Lay: Order Of St George - Gold Cup
Longshot: Count Calabash - Duke of Edinburgh

I took the 5/1 a couple of weeks ago with Bet365 NRNB. He halved in price to 5/2 within a few days. Whether the price is hype or not, she will absolutely bolt up. I can see her winning by 5 lengths.

She’s their best filly and they’re so confident in her they’ve sent the second and third best fillies they’ve got to take on the colts instead for the Norfolk and the Windsor Castle.

Chelsea Cloisters - NAP of the week

I’m a big fan of Lady A. Had her last year and actually had her introduced to the ‘to break the track record market’.

Annoyingly she was eased down that day and ended up just 0.1 seconds off. Bloody 25/1 too.

This year I am less confident but I’ve backed her nonetheless at 7/2 NRNB. She’s a cracking filly. I’m not too worried about that run in the breeders cup at the dog track but her reappearance was not what I’d want. However, Ward claims she’s working better than ever so I had to play.

                          Hopefully she wins.

As for Battaash, will he be able to cope with the big occasion? In front of the crowds and the noise, I’d be very worried he will boil over again.

He is quite frankly a brilliant tipster and the only one I am aware of who has all his tips online (for the last 9 years, scroll to bottom of page): http://www.attheraces.com/tips/atr-tipsters/hugh-taylor As you can see his ROI has improved year on year.

For those that are aware of him yes the prices go across the board in around 10 seconds so difficult to get on every day but just about possible - not that I do. I did some analysis of his tips over a year ago and he was definitely more prolific on the All Westher (rarely tips on the jumps), and particularly his 2 pointers (never does more than 2 pointers these days). So I always back those.

From memory I believe his last 3 year's of Royal Ascot tips have yielded a decent profit - obviously no guarantee the same will happen this year of course. Great thing about Royal Ascot is that due to the liquidity in the market you have a decent chance at getting the prices either the night before when he posts them on the ATR website (after a 5 min head's up via his twitter account), or early the next morning when they can drift back out. He's already tipped a couple antipost.

I realise many of you astute punters would rather pick your own, but for anyone like me who doesn't know much about the flat it does keep things easy
Just in case you've not seen, he's put his selections up tonight (and they lasted longer than normal!)
