Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • I think by now we all know how good Wodhooh is but her form given another boost by East India Dock just now.

I’ve only backed her in the Stayers, partly because I’m not convinced they’ll give BDA another crack at the Champion Hurdle and Teahupoo will be a year older and likely to regress.
I’ve made no secret in my view of the horse and that staying trips is where she should be, but is it too simple to assume Elliott won’t run BDA and Wodhooh in a Mares ?

All that said the big prices for her (Stayers) have now gone after Aintree…

Gordon was openly weighing up supplementing Wodhooh for the Mares Hurdles this year, I’d be surprised that’s not the plan for next March, Brighterdaysahead is meant to be going chasing again if connections are to be believed.

Agree, she'll go Mares IMO. She'll not beat Lossiemouth though should she go that way again which seems very likely.

        • Interested to see how Il Etait Temps gets on tomorrow as a potential Ryanair horse next season. Still only 7, and not far off it in terms of ratings. Believe they were looking at the King George this season before injury, and he's already won over 2m 4f so I wouldn't be too concerned about them sticking to 2m. He's 25s for both Ryanair and KG and not in either market on Betfair, which is a tad disappointing.

Hard to know what to expect tomorrow after the best part of a year out, but I'll probably wait and find out with a view to playing after the race. Something that resembles retaining ability and staging on into 3rd would work...

            …Hills have WTAF offers;

            KG 66-1; CC 100-1; Ry 66-1

He’s one I think his better performances are away from Cheltenham. King George if he’s stepped up would be a good shout. Problem with WPM he’s that mob handed in every division who’s knows what’s likely to come over

              • Il Etait Temps is one i really liked last season (24/25) but I'm either being really stubborn or sensible (maybe a mixture of both) and trying to be discipline ruling out horses that had previous set backs or injuries that ruled them out, as do see patterns more often now that horses either miss again or don't perform to the standard again. Suppose will have to weigh up circs, price, cash out etc but for time being too early for me to add him to my 2026 team due to last season set back.

                • …25-1 (Gold Cup) with Lads for Gaelic Warrior is a bit of a stand-out after that win.

                  • I've fucked that up. Especially by not being able to watch the race live.

He's probably the 3rd best 3 mile chaser in training so that's not a bad price

Really. That's a bit of poetic licence. Two months ago he was the 5th best 3m Novice Chaser in Gloucestershire.

I think he's talking about Gaelic Warrior not Ballyburn.
