  • Back to the horses.

This race is between Dinoblue and Halka du Talbert for me. I think Gordon will leave her out of races that will earn her a penalty and the weight difference could be the difference. HDT looks like one that would relish the extra distance and hill at Cheltenham whereas I think the trip will be the max Dinoblue will want. I still think HDT would have won the Mares novice if they'd been positive with her and the new course over the mid trip suits a bold front running horse.

What prep race do we think Dinoblue will have for the Mares Chase or will she go straight there now ?
I think you're in danger of discounting a 2xG1 winning Gentleman De Mee in this.

She beat him on his wrong ground on his first run. 161RPR compared to her 164.

Neither Dinoblue or GDM will probably win a QMCC. Both have what it takes to place. GDM won't be winning any other race at the fez. Dinoblue would be a favourite for one.

Just don't think he's good enough to even be placed in a CC Jack. Whereas Dinoblue keeps improving and improving. If she were guaranteed to see the 2 1/2 miles out then you'd have to say she would be a certainty for the MC.

Bit obvious yeah but all over 2m though ? How does she compare with the likes of ADV and the other front runners.

Overrated Allegorie has beaten it 5 times Including in this very race last year, 155.

Isn't enough to win any of the 3 Mares Chases run yet. But you won't care as you're on at 40s.

Career best by a stretch. Not sure she's beaten much there mind you.

People that fancy Limerick Lace for this, would surely also give Brides Hill a fair chance i'd have thought.

ADV is a busted flush, wouldn't be bothering even looking at her at the minute, has to be an underlying issue there somewhere.

Apparently, until the grass is 4mm too long for Nickys liking

She's always been that way imo. Very, very overrated on what she's done/achieved.

Just looked up all latest RPR's.....

ADV ran in the 120's last time......she's gone.

Dinoblue miles clear if she stays

Limerick Lace a few ahead of Hauturiere who in turn is ahead of Halka.

                                Close for the places.

Best I have is 20's (3 times) Jack. As a result I left alone the 40's which was an insane price.

I do think PT will ride Hauturiere so she may well go off second fav.
