Not listened yet lads so may have been touched on by your good selves, but for me the Allaho price is still more than fair and I’m not surprised to see him garner the majority of the votes. If I didn’t have a chunky bet on at slightly bigger odds I’d see no issue in going in at the current price tbh.
Allaho is probably around as far ahead of his likely rivals as Shishkin is ahead of every other rival barring Energumene - and therein is the key. We know that there’s little in it between those two, maybe the difference of only an unfortunately timed jumping error from shishkin, and while the general school of thought (myself included) is that getting back to Cheltenham will swing it further in his favour there’s no getting away from the fact that Allaho will have nothing of Energumenes ilk lining up against him. Yet Shishkin is significantly shorter
Then compare to Bob Olinger, who is generally the same price for his race as Allaho - a very good horse last season and has looked good so far this season, but goes into the race having less experience than ideal, and facing rivals that for the most part he will have not faced off against before, at least not over fences. Allaho has basically got to beat the same horses he’s beaten last year and twice this season comfortably again. Yet him & Bob are the same price, and that’s not evening mentioning that there’s a bit of a consensus (not sure I’m a believer myself) that Bobs jumping may let him down abit.
Allaho has already beaten pretty much all his likely rivals comfortably, on multiple occasions in some instances, and I’m struggling to think of a single horse from last years novices that would even lay a glove on Allaho in the Ryanair. Janidil the only potential danger I’d say, ran close enough to him the first day this season and probably the most likely to find some further improvement. At 14/1 and bigger on the exchange it’s not going to do you too much damage to get a decent hedge on your Allaho position.

Not had a chance to listen yet gents, but went with Allaho, purely because he’s odds against.
He looks like he’s improving the fact he’s won on reappearance which he’s failed to do the last 2 years.
Hes just blowing away the opposition and the fact WPM wasn’t too happy with him post race, shows they are expecting more again.
