Wow good work, altho an unusual thing to be doing at 4am! Surprised there wasn't a single vote for sire de berlais in the stayers. Also dont really understand the love-in for allaho on this forum, ive not seen anything to suggest he's up to winning a ryanair

I’m a uni student mate so I rarely am asleep at 4am tbh! Was betting on the Australian horses at 4am this morning for example so thought I’d do the FJ horses and the percentages as promised.

Not seen anything? But judging by your diary you like Champ for the Gold Cup quite a bit, yet he was only within 2 lengths of Allaho, who you've not seen anything from
I can't see how such a close form tie of two horses, one you fancy for the hardest race at the festival and the other you don't think he's up to winning a potentially easier race.
Allaho recorded the same RPR over 2m 5f prior to the festival as he did in the RSA.
I think it was quite obvious that Allaho just got outstayed (twice now, as was 3rd behind Minella Indo in the Bartlett the season before), his jumping was better than his rivals that day though, which would suggest a drop back in trip would cause no hindrance to him. He could potentially burn them off from the front, like he did in his race prior to the festival.
I can see you like Min, and I'm a big fan of his (as per past seasons on here), but I'd worry about his age, he just lasted by a neck the season just gone, so it would be a concern being that he will be 10 next season.

Well, the reason I like champ is the finishing kick up the hill and he looks an ideal type for a goldcup. Allaho has dotted up at 2-5 and been beaten by easygame in his other chase at 2 and a half miles. Like you say tho, IF min is on the decline (and I would want to see racecourse evidence of that rather than just say hes 10 so he must be passed it) then it could end up being a relatively weak race. Personally I'm hoping lostintranslation drops back in trip

Beaten 1.5L in a Gold Cup, trained by Colin Tizzard?
Not much chance you get your wish.
There are always horses I think would be better in the Ryanair with a front-running ride... LIT would definitely be one I'd fall for if I thought he was going there. I'll almost certainly back him NRNB for it in Feb and get my money back in March
