    Thanks Chief.
I was wintering in Australia 94/95 and not due back until April, I remember waking up in Surfers Paradise on the Saturday before the festival and had this unending need to get back, so I managed to bring flight forward and I landed on Monday morning and was picked up by a friend and driven straight to Cheltenham.

I remember having a decent ante post position on Large Action who was the best 2m hurdler when I left for Aus the previous October, little did I know that Alderbrook was planning a smash and grab champion hurdle raid.
Master Oats' Gold Cup win was something too.
    Happy memories...

I know you’ve posted the videos before OV but for the benefit of those who won’t know the horse if you could get Remittance Mans Arkle on here I’d live people to see the best ever jumper of a fence (until Mick Fitz ruined him)...

Cue Cards Bumper, purely because it was (and still is) my biggest priced winner

Not Cheltenham, but Poker De Sivola winning the Whitbread is a race I've never watched back.
