Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, placing in a grade 1 over a trip short of his best, jumping beautifully (as you can tell on a 2 inch screen)

I'd say they're very pleased, as it's proof he's still got a lot of ability.

      • Took 16s for Percy before the Durkan on Sunday so was pleased to see him have a nice run over a trip that for sure doesn't suit. Anyone any ideas of where he may be headed next, I assume he won't be sent to the Saville chase at the end of the month. If you want a G1 3m chase I assume you're looking at the Irish Gold Cup perhaps. Saying that I can imagine Kelly will send him to a pertemps qualifier round Warwick or something daft

        • The Lexus is next. Thry entered him today.

          • Any other owner and I wouldn’t even entertain this idea (can’t emphasise that point enough), but is there the slightest possibility O’leary could send Tiger here? He said they won’t go to Aintree under top weight which could just be attention seeking/chatting nonsense, it’s hard to tell. O’leary is definitely stubborn enough to make that call and if the XC was a prep for the National and he doesn’t go to Aintree, then what would an operation ‘winding down’ have to lose in going for a Gold Cup? Nothing but pure speculation on a slow news day, prompted by comments after last years XC chase (which I seem to watch weekly) that was in the wrong race. Probably highly unlikely

            • It would certainly add an intriguing element to the race but he's a legend already, so i think they would prefer the easier route of the XC and bow out as a 5 time winner at the Festival. Saying that if Delta Work doesn't step up to the mark or is ruled out you never know

                Absolutely none Charlie.
I made a case for him to come here 2 years ago, that would have been his best chance and they chose not to.
This season (until early Feb) is all about the owners telling media that the horse may be retired and that the UK handicapper is a reincarnation of the devil, all of which is designed to get the best possible mark for a third National attempt.

I'm convinced, assuming good health, he'll go Cross Country and then onto the National and I'll be ignoring everything that comes from the mouth of his attention seeking owner....

                        Most likely not ready yet.

Any word from Archie if Al Boum Photo is going for savills. Presumably not as he is 9/1

Doesn't look like it. Think Delta will put himself back into GC picture by winning this.

Forfeits tomorrow but last I heard he was a likely runner subject to how he works.

                              • Is the Tramore race not a Savills chase that abp won last year as well?

Think that has been the plan for him again.
