We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

JP & Co. will surely have the final say on where Chantry House goes. He doesn’t seem to have an obvious RSA type yet so that may have an impact on him stepping up, they have plenty of Arkle & Marsh ammunition in Ireland between Willie & Gordon.
I wondered if Andy Dufrense for Elliott could possibly step up to 3m?
He is entered in all 3 novice trips at Xmas so I think which he goes for will be informative. I’d imagine Elliott would want to avoid Envoi Allen with Andy D as well going forward.

Not really sure who decides when it comes to the JP lot with Henderson. I'd imagine it is Frank Berry, but wouldn't like to guess. All I know is if Nicky gets it wrong about one of JP's horses he speaks as though he has made the decision not anyone else.

If my memory serves me correctly Nicky wanted Chantry House in the Ballymore last year but connections had Sporting John lined up for it so his hands were tied, I think JP’s team have more pull on targets than a lot of owners.

I remember when Champ lost in the Ballymore and he said that 'he probably ran him in the wrong race', which was a bit of an admission that he decided the race for Champ. Whether that was the actual case I don't know.
I understand there seems to be this belief that JP/Frank Berry call the shots, but the evidence for this is hardly concrete.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't the trainer who made all the calls.
I appreciate in the case of JP he has so many horses with so many different trainers that Frank Berry probably liaises with trainers on targets for horses with other yards, I know JP more than most is happy pitting his horses against each other but I would imagine in the case of potential top table novices they would want them kept apart...

This is true. He said it in his stable tour this year.
Noel Duggan (@noelduggan) asked "Keith's thoughts on Galvin for the National Hunt Chase?"
I think he has a great chance, but I'd be worried if a proper Grade One horse ended up in the race. This race hasn't been attracting top class horses of late, so he might just get away with that. He's very good though, jumps great and showed he stays well last time. Imperial Aura has definitely franked the form from his festival run last year too and he deserves to be favourite.
