Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • I think a lot of people have assumed because the form ties in with Monkfish, it means he's a future 3 mile chaser himself. Certainly coupled with him being a Gigginstown owned horse it's easy to assume he'd be a 3 miler.

With what you've said, the Marsh does make some sense. The 3 horses you mentioned, Dynaste, Disko and Terrefort have all ended up over 3m in time though too - so is that in the realms of possibility?

I thought he was a good thing last night, had 6 points on but cashed out - got put off this morning. Good luck with him though

Oh 100% he could end up a 3 mile horse at some point, but then a lot of horses move out in trip as time catches up with them.

His jumping just isn't up to scratch at all, i was very disappointed in him. What do they do with him now?

          • Five o’clock entered in a beginners chase next week over 2m6. Not one to read too much into the trip of a horses first outing but there wouldn’t be too many beginners chases over this sort of trip - sure backers for the 4 miler will be happy.

I know the counter arguement, the G1 form Darver Star has you can argue is stronger....but your statement was you can't see it.... it's not hard to fathom

Darver Star could well be a good bet though, I'll be very tempted to back.
I'm with you on this Kev.

Felix Desjy is a Grade 1 and Grade 2 winner.
If he settles near/at the front in his races he could be a lively contender for Grade 1 Novice Chases.

A race between him and Unexcepted could be a spectacular sight if they both sped off together.

Will end up like Petit Mouchoir and Saint Calvados in the Arkle, won't it

                    • Very nice indeed from Protektorat - loved the way he just powered away from the back of 3 out when Cobden tried to exert some pressure.

                            Skelton?

Skelton has just given him some very nice praise...."I haven't ridden many that jump around here like that. He's unreal."
