Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    And wins the Champion Hurdle.
And Percy wins the Gold cup.
    Penhill wins the stayers.
    BDD wins the mares.
Lets face it Altior has just been risking injury by prepping, wins the champion chase.

Then we'll have to start hibernating till March every year as the racing leading up to Cheltenham will be worse than normal.
They'll all start just leaving them till spring.
Yeah ,Oh god , I really hope it doesn't end up like that .

    • I'm not so sure about this

Its not a positive at all ... not about trusting Pat Jelly.

The plan was to run tomorrow. From a long way out?

I'll be absolutely gutted it we don't get to see him in the Gold Cup ... win or lose its been great ...

If he doesn't run its rubbish, whether you're with or against

You’d have to be concerned he’s had a set back. I’d have backed Monalee for the race but Kelly has never been afraid of losing a prep. Can only think he’d be concerned of a hard race close to Cheltenham.

          • Purely on form he was a crazy price anyway but it's genuinely disappointing that he doesn't run.

Also a little disappointing that there's no word from connections yet.

I would imagine it's purely a ground issue, Kev. We have seen all winter that the ground everywhere ends up being considerably less soft than advertised and the continued refusal of Willie Mullins to risk his horses on it is testament to this. Pat Kelly has one day in mind for Percy and he isn't going to jeopardise that by running him tomorrow on ground that is not to his liking.
He could have suffered a setback, sure - but we are unlikely to have a Press Conference!!

              • Presenting Percy’s owner Philip Reynolds has indicated that the Stayers’ Hurdle would be considered as a fallback option if circumstances were to conspire against them. The Gold Cup is plan A.

However, if he were to miss the Red Mills Chase for any reason or if things don’t go to plan in that, then the Stayers’ Hurdle could come into the equation.

                    Yeah agree with all that.

There should be some word on why and the plan. He's a high profile favourite for the biggest race we have ...

                    Poor form so far.

                    What is the ground tomorrow?
                    What are the exchanges implying?

                      • Can be supplemented but yeah doesn't make sense.

The ground @GowranPark1 (Saturday) is yielding to soft. Forecast mainly dry with a risk of showers this evening and tomorrow morning.

                            • Hmm.

I hope it's ground.... but yielding to soft isn't dangerous?

He's the horse I want to see the most.

Its so frustrating not knowing if it's by design or forced.

                              If he's 100% healthy I'm okay ...
