The Grade 2 Summit Juvenile Hurdle has regularly been lost to weather and has been run just four times in the last decade.
Hors La Loi III – the winner of the 2002 Champion Hurdle – won this is in 1998 before going on to win the Supreme Novices Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival during the same season.
The race was permanently switched from Lingfield to Doncaster in 2011. The 2012 renewal is due to take place on December 15th.
