Hi Somer, have you taken Allopurinol tablets for your gout. Been on them 2 years and not had a problem since taking them and I suffered badly with it. Apologies turned this into a medical review

To tell the truth its only my 2nd attack. Had the 1st 5yrs ago so just pain killers for me at the mo.

Yep, this is the answer.

Just give your doctors a call, it might take you a week to get through to them and a month for an appointment but Allopurinol will prevent further attacks.

And Mine ..... Very Painful.. , Drink Loads of water ., in this Heat especially ...
Cherry Juice - pure, not watered down . and actual cherries are good for easing gout , .
Asparagus can bring on Gout ... I avoid Hard Cheese - Cheddar e.t.c. , ., which i like .
I was told by my Doctor , i couldn't have Allopurinol , unless i already was gout free .. ??.
Lot's of different things that trigger it i believe , Shellfish , Lager , Whiskey .. e.t.c. . e.t.c. .. ..... "Doctor " Chaang. .
...................... Anyway , good Yankee C.o.D. , will get this on a.s.a.p. ..

my brother suffers from gout and so do some of his friends , he was in Tenerife and the pharmacist recommended VOLTAREN RAPID 12.5MG, says it clears up in a couple of hours , was really cheap out there so he brought back a few boxes
