Rather than resurrect the old thread that was originally about the Owners Club, I thought I'd create a new one where anyone should feel free to list and give news about any horses in which they have shares.

For non-owners, I can't speak for others but I'll be as open as possible while respecting the interests of other shareholders by maintaining confidentiality if necessary.

Now that the fall-out from Supreme Horse Racing is mainly complete, I can declare these interests.

4 ex-Supreme horses:
Kemboy - did well over the summer and, if he comes to hand, should be out somewhere next month.
Cadmium - same as Kemboy really.
Robin De Carlow - had quite a serious setback earlier in the year. Seems to be recovered and will be on a walking regime for a month before resuming training.
Captain Kangaroo - ready to roll next month. May go for a winners bumper but more likely a maiden hurdle.

2 recent additions, both with Donald McCain:
Esme Shelby - second in a point early in the year. Should be ready next month.
Luck Of Clover - placed several times on the flat. Has an entry at Uttoxeter on Friday.

Nice one Arch. Always good to hear people's interest in racing goes beyond just betting for profit !

I'll definitely get back into racehorse ownership one day. Such a fantastic experience.

Thank you Archie,

Really good news that RDC is recovering well and back walking. :encouragement:

....Kemboy is a horse I just like, be interesting if he comes to these shores for a race over the Christmas period!!

I don't have the funds to be as involved as archie, but I do have shares in a few of the Owners Group Horses:

Pentland Hills - Nicky Henderson
As has been widely reported - is out for the season.

Glynn - Nicky Henderson
Only ran once last season (did have initial entries for Ballymore and Albert Bartlett). Will jump a fence, but may be kept to hurdles initially - as he is so inexperienced.

Stage Star - Paul Nicholls
Entered in a Bumper this afternoon at Chepstow. One for the future.

Hacker des Places - Paul Nicholls
Came 3rd to Paros in France. Ran on Sunday (2nd - BF) - very lively in the prelims. Should be better if he learns to settle.

A nice portfolio. Best of luck with them.

A number of owners would approve of that.

Thanks archie

I am a massive fan of Kemboy and I was gutted when he fell in the 2019 Gold Cup.
I felt that that could have been his year

Well done with Stage Star, Leman

Thanks DG

He looked good didn't he!
It's the first time he's seen a race course and he is bred to jump, so I guess that this season is all about getting some experience into him.

I wasn't expecting too much, but very happy with that :applause:

Stage Star - Post-race

No long-term target given by Paul Nicholls.
Will get a couple of easy weeks before they discuss plans for the remainder of the season.

I’ve got a horse with Tristan Davidson called ‘style it out’ and will be running in a novice hurdle before Xmas.

I also have some small shares in some flat horses with Nick Bradley racing. These being one 2 year old and six yearlings. Even though I’m a jump man, I should have a bit of fun next year.

Good thread archie.

As a very, very early stages question.... who would be interested in a Fat Jockey syndicate ownership?

With enough interest, I'm happy to start putting time in to this venture...

Like the post if you would....

Tristan trains in my neck of the woods Curly.

Best of luck, I'll keep an eye out.

Very sad to report that Cadmium died after exercise this morning. That round of jumping in the Topham is a great memory and epitaph.
