Thought I has this worked out. But he is going to struggle to qualify now :(

The Rebecca Curtis trained Teaforthree has been withdrawn from today's Willoughby De Broke Open Hunters Chase at Warwick due to a bruised foot.

The current joint-favourite for the Fox Hunters Chase at Cheltenham was due to be partnered today by Champion Point-to-Point rider Jamie Codd.

Teaforthree hasn't run since unseating his rider in last April's Crabbie's Grand National at Aintree. The 11-year-old was last successful when landing the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham in 2012 when partnered by JT McNamara.

Have found something for T43 next week. Needs to finish in first two then find another one in Feb.

SALSIFY, winner of the Foxhunter Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in 2012 and 2013 but absent from the track for more than a year, could be back for a third crack at the race in March with the ten-year-old set to return in the Raymond Smith Memorial Hunters Chase at Leopardstown on Sunday week.

Having knocked a joint after his last racecourse appearance at Down Royal on December 26, 2013, Salsify missed his bid for three-in-a-row at Cheltenham last March but he is no bigger than 12-1 to complete the hat-trick this time around and his trainer Roger Sweeney reports him to be ready for action again.

"We've been tipping away with Salsify and we're ready to run at Leopardstown on Sunday week," Sweeney said. "He's a lazy type at home and he never shows us much but he seems to be coming along nicely and I've been very happy with him.

"It will be his first run inside the rails for a while at Leopardstown and I'd say he'll come on a lot for it. We'll see how he gets on there and then look at Cheltenham afterwards.

"It'll probably be a strong race with Willie Mullins' horse in it [Prince Du Beauchene] and one or two others but all the hunter chases are usually competitive and it will tell us where we stand with him."

What's everyone's thoughts on paint the clouds, been backing him for few weeks now for this race, declared at Doncaster tomorrow, fully expect him to win well and for his odds to get cut

I agree with above comment this division crying out for a new face and paint the clouds will show his hand tomo, and for me the jockey is a big plus in my book, always a big bonus in this tyoe of race.

Quote from an old stable tour - how have the Stratford winners done at Cheltenham ?

PAINT THE CLOUDS
9 b g Muhtarram - Preening
137 rated chaser. Prolific winning hunter chase who ended his last campaign with an easy success in the Stratford Foxhunters Champion Hunters Chase (3m 4f) in May.
"He is an absolute gem of a horse and he won his three hunter chases last year. He is back in and doing road work and will go down the Hunter Chase route again with the Foxhunters at Cheltenham being his main target."

Got to be happy with that!

I have jumped on the Cloud bandwagon, makes a lot of sense and took 7's with Will Hill before it goes!

You won't get above 5's on the day for this lad looking at his record and SWC a definite plus

I think I read yesterday that he hasn't qualified, so presumeably they would have to squeeze in a run elsewhere

He got dropped by the handicapper so probably worked out in its own way.
