I'm always wary of all the results at meetings after the Fez . Happy to put a line through them in relation to next year's Festival.

Yeah, makes sense. Very ground dependant. Really can't see him staying the GN trip though.

    2026 Grand National

Trainer today still looking to National with Spillanes..... “In the village I come from the signs are still up ‘Home of Monty’s Pass’, so hopefully they can put another one up!” The horse tasked with delighting the Conna faithful is a multiple Grade One winner who provided Mangan with his first...

Gerri Colombe and Banbridge both entered in Bowl as well. Good chance one of the 3 goes there instead.

    2026 Grand National

Certainly doesn't look like we are going to get a testing National this year. Will suit those at the top of the weights again.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if AE went and won. May be completely different ground at Newmarket and he must have been well under cooked at the weekend. Drifted on the day and didn't give him a hard race at all. Won't be the first time one of AOB's makes an extraordinary from it's debut.

He's just being clever. If he said to JP that he'd ride IAM now and closer to the race he wasn't working great then he'd have a bit of a predicament. Sounds like he'd only ride GW if it came up deep?

Cheers Eggs. Such a shame he made that bad mistake at the last where he lost his back legs completely. I feel he'd definitely had been 3rd without that error. 4th place was hard to take.

Bookies absolutely taking the piss the way they have slashed everything following the Ballyburn news. It's like we are in February 2027 not March 2026.

Absolutely Envoi. Can't deny though that F2F would be a huge danger to Gaelic wherever they race and the former doesn't have a bad record at the Festival either. Those two to me are a fair way ahead of the other staying chasers.

Definitely find out if Albert Einstein is a sprinter or not tomorrow. 7f on Soft to Heavy in a decent looking race will tell us loads. I have an inkling he really is a freak.

I've backed Spillanes Tower today at 33's with him being confirmed for the race. Cobden was booked to ride him in the Gold Cup before he was pulled so I fully expect him to be on board at Aintree for JP.

    2027 The Prices on Offer

Not convinced by this season's Novices. Kitzbuhel did it well but can see him being more suited to a Ryanair the way he races. F2F not only went straight over fences but got into the game late as well and was a few days off 6 before making his Rules debut.

    2027 The Prices on Offer

Yeah, that's the thing with F2F. With him taking the same path to the festival as this season (bar KG) and potentially going unbeaten and putting Gaelic to bed again in the process, 20/1 will be way in the distance and the will he/won't he questions will be back again. It'll be interesting if he...

He'll definitely not jump ship. Casey reckons IAM is Willie's best chance as well.
