Went in again on him when Hills pushed him out to 40's!

    Cheltenham Festival Roll-Ups

I do exactly the same. I know there are plenty on here that play win only, but I can't break the habit of a lifetime, and I quite like how the place money back adds up as I am working out how I got on at the festival. Obviously paying double for the E/W element of the bet, I can see why plenty...

    2026 Grand National

I agree. In my opinion Cross Country ratings should have their own place, away from any other rating. It's a race like no other, and only 3 (I think) a year in Britain. It can't be hard to do!

    2027 The Prices on Offer

Was OK wasn't he, without being spectacular. Probably a far cry from being a Supreme winner, but fully expecting him to improve plenty for a hurdle.

    Win Today & Festival ‘27

Got a friend to request this. Minella Machine was high on my list of p2p's last season. Form from the Leopardstown bumper looks top notch, and I think he will improve massively for a hurdle. Should be going close today.

    2026 Grand National

Johnnywho, Final Orders & Stellar Story are all on my shortlist of 12 @Quevega But I'm probably going to end up with 5 or 6 of them, I just need to whittle it down. I have a couple I'll be waiting on ground for too.

    2027 The Prices on Offer

Thought White Noise, the Mares Novices Hurdle winner, is overpriced @ 50/1 for the Mares Hurdle. She looked to have plenty of stamina about her, leading or prominent throughout before rallying and really seeing the 2m1f out well up the hill. I can only imagine the 2m4f of the Mares Hurdle will...

I would have him very similar. No bad run in the Supreme, at all, and with the other two from the race looking like going chasing, The New Lion stepping up in trip, State Man will be 10 (will he even make it back), Brighterdaysahead going chasing (again), it really is open, especially if...

    2026 Grand National

Just amended this thread, to this years Grand National, rather than create a new thread every year, especially as this one is hardly used anyway. Anyway, the reason for doing so because I think I've found the next 100/1 Venetia Williams winner, in L'homme Presse. I assume he's going to turn...

I'm actually away a lot of April, happy to do it or do May instead, and let someone else have a crack at April.

    2027 The Prices on Offer

Quite possibly will turn out to be. Breeding is a mixed bag. But I'd say the majority of Well Chosens go out in trip. Obviously Old Park Star didn't, but he's trained by the master of 2 milers, IMO. He's certainly a tricky one to call right now. I went with what I thought was the value bet...

    2027 The Prices on Offer

Certainly unsure about his trip myself too. Agree about Saint Des Saints as well. Because of Djakadam I used to always think of them as 3m chasers, which, of course, in time, they can end up at but early enough in their careers they can be 2-2.5 milers as you note.

    2027 The Prices on Offer

No, I think Old Park Star is number one, but should anything happen to him I think Act Of Innocence could slot in. Only interested in using free bets on him and not cash. Don't see Act Of Innocence as a 3 miler at Cheltenham, personally. May be a King George / Ryanair type in the future, but 3m...

    2027 The Prices on Offer

Played a fair few early doors. Have Old Park Star covered for the Arkle already from the festival specials after he obliged in the Supreme. Used Gaelic Warrior in the Gold Cup to get Mydaddypaddy (Arkle) in the book using a free bet too @ 23.5/1. Used a freebie on Act Of Innocence (Arkle) @...

    2027 The Prices on Offer

Kaid D'Authie @ 66/1 for the Gold Cup appeals to me. Probably very little chance of him beating Gaelic Warrior, but I reckon at least 4 of them that race in the race this year won't turn up next year, maybe more tbh. Kaid D'Authie was still going well enough, IMO, before he came down in the...
