Novice Chasers 2027

[Lobos]

OPS entered for a graduation chase at Carlisle on Monday over 2m. Make of that what you will... Very surprised he is out before AOI in any case.

Maybe the ground is softer there ?

With all these meetings being cancelled, we are going to see these better horses start out where they can as opposed to the usual routes

It’s not what I would expect for his first chase.
My first thoughts are that the horse is ready for a run and Hendo is looking around for suitable ground for the horse.He is a trainer that can get very fussy with ground, particularly with his top horses.
Would not be surprised to see some more entries next week

[Runragged]

….Sober Glory;

‘We are just waiting for more rain for Sober Glory, and he won’t run until we have softer ground. He could run at the Cheltenham November meeting or at Exeter the Monday after - he looks a lovely sort for novice chasing over two miles. Hopefully he will be a leading candidate for the Arkle at Cheltenham in March.’
