2026 Flat Season

Brilliant performance from CR and fabulous ride from Moore. AOB got the team tactics spot on. He's some horse to win from that stall and I'm not sure he was liking the softer conditions either.

That Chester performance was top drawer, plus he's now a classic winner from an unfashionable draw.

AOB looks like having an even more exceptional bunch of 3 year olds this year.

I was a bit dissapointed he didnt quicken better myself. Didnt scream superstar. Id have liked him to put a bit more distance into his stablemates.

The draw was pretty irrelevant as he got a nice position and the team tactics worked perfectly with them being 1,2,3 all the way round.

Looking forward to the derby now. Hopefully something wins well.

CR won that by staying. The race was 3 seconds quick with every other race on the card being slower than standard. He would have p1ssed in at Epsom.

Yep may have. Looks like they'll get plenty of rain at Epsom though which would have gone against him. Decision to go to France may have worked out perfectly. Reckon he'll follow exact same route as Delacroix now.

Don't believe they were ever going there. Showed electric pace in the Irish G and will stick to a mile IMO.

She stayed a mile at 2 so id be confident she would stay 1m2f strongly.

Coronation Stakes has looked nailed on for her since her Guineas romp
 
Just watched the musidora and dante back

Legacy link has a rounded knee action and was just getting going at the line. Softer ground and longer trip should suit her well.

Item looked all class but has a very straight legged action which would suggest softer ground wont see him at his best. I think he could be top class but whether 1m4f on soft ground is what he wants i have doubts. Hes also drawn low and will need luck in running.

So if this weather continues il be having more than planned on legacy link and lowering my stake on Item i think.

Only 9 runners in the oaks should hopefully mean legacy links draw of 1 isnt an issue.

Nice to see Bow Echo beat the coolmore mafia again

Moore and soumillion tried to box him in again

But he was too good again

Must be so hard as a jockey to deal with these team tactics.

Soumillon clearly had 1 instruction. Sit on his outside and make sure he has difficulty getting down the outside Of ryan.

Anyone have any strong views on York. Think a speed track suits Ombudsman much more than CS, though large dollop of rain would dampen my enthusiasm and also like the entry for Gentle Hurricane ew in the Acomb which appeared to be a race that is targeted.

Late as at York, but cashed out Ombudsman as ground was so slow. Decent ew return at 8s on gentle Hurricane. Back to hotel and will have a look at tomorrow
