Iroko up 4lb today.
One I'd like to be (again) next year is Johnnywho, more that a little inconvenienced by the loose horses on the run in and I'll expect Jonjo to mess about with the horse until Feb and get his mark down to somewhere near where he ran off on Saturday (146).
25/1 doesn't scream huge value but I can see him being one of JPs leading lights next year...

….given his age, Jordan’s has to be of interest. He should’ve won, JOB should have a GN on his CV, I just wonder if the opportunity will arise next year.

Agree on both. Also Jagwar at 40/1 looks big too. We've no idea how he would've got on given how early he came down, but I am sure they'll want to find out again next year and I could see him being around 10/1 again.

Just didn't jump well enough for me. Made a handful of minor errors but they all add up. It was his 2nd time over the fences so I'm not sure he can make any improvement.

Don't, please. Backed him every time this season and he always has excuses. If he could put in an ultra clean round he'd be a danger in a Gold Cup but it won't happen.

I agree, generally, but to date, he's been a single digit price which doesn't reflect the risk. Every horse has it's price, and I think 40/'1 for Jagwar is good.

I ignored that previous run over the fences, every chance they were minding his mark for Spring.
Sat was his first attempt over any sort of National trip, longest trip previously was the Kim Muir he somehow managed not to win, for me I can easily see improvement over extended trips…

Weird run, I want to see what they've said about him. He went short in running (3/1 according to TF), jumped and travelled savage that first circuit, I was worried he'd get to the front too soon. But he'd definitely dropped back into midfield before he came down and he was quite far back. Was he beaten or was Walsh just dropping him off the pace a bit? Hard to tell
