Its that time of year again

Not long till the lincoln, then the craven and the guineas

1 mile maiden at naas tomorrow

Obrein runs 2. Drop dead gorgeous is unraced and has moore up.

By Dubawi, out of a mare that has produced 4 group 1 winners (including gleneagles and happily) and a few g1 placed.

Could be one worth keeping an eye on.

anyone have any ante post fancies for the flat, not an area i know much about

Playing Anno Domini in the Lincoln, a friend of mine really likes him, backed @ 25's now only 365 dangling 16's with 14's everywhere else.

21/22 – Aged 6 or younger
20/22 – Carried 9-4 or less in weight
19/22 – Had won over at least 1m before
18/22 – Had won between 2-4 times before
17/22 – Having their first run of the flat season

a few trends for the lincoln

Just watched a few replays and went over a few pedigrees

Unfortunately the one i came down on was eternal force who is 5/1. Which is too short for a race like this.

He does look like a potential group horse running off 96 though. Gelding op turned him inside out last season. Won all 3 since then. Travelled keenly last time so a strong gallop should suit.

By Dubawi out of a Galileo mare, plus trained by haggas, so should be better at 4 than 3.

Hopefully he drifts. 7/1 id back, 5/1 happy to leave it.

Usually best to wait for the draw in this race as the winner is often drawn high

Kathy Turners horse

Brocklesby
Ist race at Donny Saturday
Probably worth a small sentimental each way bet
33-1 b365
Had a bit of success backing her dads horses in this race over the years
Named after him this year
You’d think they’d want a horse with a chance running so his price probably value to sp

Toby Moore on board, claiming 7lbs, that'll help!

Ladbrokes opened 40-1

Like that. Would be very fitting if he won. 40/1 with Hills. Had a small amount EW.

Gone in on Galeron @ 16/1 too.

Down 7lbs from last seasons race (finished 5th), plus Jack Callan is taking off another 5lbs.

Goes well fresh, seems to go well at Doncaster too, no ground concerns, acts on all types, probably won't win, but he's consistent and will be there or thereabouts I imagine.

Backed the same two. Neil Callan's son as well. Makes you feel old this flat racing.

Solid each way Galeron I reckon. Might play place only as well. As I doubt he'll be too popular and can see him finding one or two too good but going well.

Backed Al Riffa and Reef Runner in Meydan also. Al Riffa only 6/4 but be disappointed if he's beaten there.

I had a quick look at meydan yesterday and did think al riffa looked a bit of a good thing

Was contemplating him and precise in the guineas as a double

I see coolmore have finally named a horse George Stubbs. Running on saturday in a 1m2f maiden with ryan on board

Given how many horses they name after artists im surprised it took them so long to name one after the bloke famous for painting horses

Yea, I'll be doubling him up with some long range fancies also.

Might take a look at the distances markets also!

May be worth noting that amo racings main jockey David Egan is riding at kempton not doncaster tomorrow

I was a bit confused as to why that was the case. Surely hed rather ride in the brocklesby than cathedral in the fillies listed race at kempton.

Then i noticed Sin City in the 4:28. Who is entered in the english and irish 2000 guineas. Iv convinced myself that is why he is there and have taken some 13/2

Some rather likely looking royal ascot types running for obrein on Friday

New Yorker - by no nay never out of 2yo 6f group 1 winner fairyland

Confuscius - by no nay never out of 2yo 6f group 1 winner millisle

Both won the chevely park stakes. Fairyland finished 3rd at royal ascot.

3yo 1m1f maiden later on in the card

Auguste Rodins half brother by dubawi out of rhododendron, canary island, makes his debut

But moore has chosen to ride Pendulum, who you can only assume has been working well at home as canary island has much better breeding

Canary island is only in the irish derby pendulum in neither. But a race to keep an eye on.
