2026 BetMGM Cup Handicap Hurdle (previously Coral Cup)

Have faith
Might do him on the day especially if Walshy is flying.

Have decided to back Roc Dino. Very late to the party but he looks guaranteed a run now . Be a nice way to finish the week 👍

welcome to the club!

more confident than i am that he'll get the run though

Guard Duty for anyone interested.

Expecting him to drift tomorrow as money comes for the more fashionable sorts. If Ben gets him nice and settled out the back early I quite fancy him to sneak into the money late on.

Just had another look through this race. Think I need to cover farren glory. Some fair enough hurdle form, good third to storm heat last time out over an inadequate 2m. Gets a few on from storm heart, and three times the price.

Thought I’d done with my bets for today but taking a late swing at Sony Bill 50/1.

Saw a WPM interview earlier in the week and he made an interesting comment when asked about a dark horse for the festival. It was along the lines of look out for our 3rd/4th string in some races. Just the way he said it caught my attention.

He doesn’t really have a 3rd/4th string in the handicap chases and often the County is farmed by the horse Paul rides. Doesn’t leave a huge number of races.

Anyway, back to SB. The yard seemed to like him last year after his arrival from France. Ran in 3 graded juvenile races plus was Paul’s ride in the Boodles. Resurfaced in Feb this year at DRF so takes Willie’s ‘one run and to the festival’ route.

All his runs were at 2m so hoping the step up in trip unlocks something.

I keep trying to talk myself into backing him cos of the Mullins 1 run/debut trend, especially in handicaps
