Old Park Star v Mighty Park. Park double down, boo!

Talk the Talk, still in the turners then. Not ruling out. Can't see it not being a logical option now.

Thought Jp would decide early
Just hoped for other race really
But not by much

Why?

Old Park Star has won an uncompetitive Grade 2, and Mighty Park has won a maiden hurdle. One, to a certain extent is hype over substance, and the other is just a massive hype horse. Yes, even though you have better form, let's just run away. That's even before you consider the comments which has always suggested he was going Supreme.

Fair enough. Can't see past those two myself as winners and he'll have a favourites chance for me in the turners.

If the connections of Talk The Talk switch, it won't be running away it'll be giving their horse, what they think is the better chance to win.

You’d give talk the talk a favourites chance in the turners
I reckon it’s all been about might park
Talk will be facing several rivals he’s beaten or was going to beat in the turners and Nichols horse and the lawlirs horses

Not an easy decision though as turners now looks deeper

Agreed and in addition the Turners looks like being a pretty big field with 32 still in contention. With Talk The Talk being a hold up horse and not the sharpest jumper to date that might not be ideal with potential traffic problems, especially if the pace doesn't string them out.

Unpopular opinion but I’m still not convinced he was going to beat Skylight. Watched it backed recently and I hadn’t realised that Jack had TTT tied to the rail on the bend like he did. Great riding. For me it looked a tired fall at the last that day because he had to use a lot of gas to get out a difficult spot. Skylight hit the line hard so I just don’t have it as straightforward as perhaps others have. What it did reiterate, is that Jack is top class.

Since then, the DRF race suggests TTT is a top notcher, so a better ride at Xmas may have confirmed a few things. He would have to be fav if he went turners. I’d then also be interested in whoever Jack picks, hopefully Skylight, and there’s the quinella for me.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but god Mighty Park looks like an absolute boat.

Thought I'd take a look back at his point and he looked unbelievably one paced after the last. looked just as slow over his hurdles in his maiden. Never really got much above 30 mph at Fairyhouse.

Feel like this is shaping up to be one of the biggest busts we've seen in a while. One of them where he's traveling to 3 or 4 out and still just about on the bridle, then all the quick horses just go sailing on by him like he's standing still. MW will ask the question and he'll just continue on at the one pace well beat out the back of the TV.

It does have that air of disaster about it, doesn't it. Not long now ⏳
