    2027 The Prices on Offer

Thought he showed a decent turn of foot round the bend. Didn’t exactly scream step up in trip on the run to the line after the last

Game of opinions and i’m not so sure. Swap track position on the first and second and i’d surprised if that result isn’t reversed. Was almost out on the chase track for a lot the race down the back and just before turning in, must have thought he had Faugheen underneath him!

Not one for slating jockeys and even less so amateurs but that ride from Paddy in the bumper beggared belief, what an earth was he thinking 😂

Prior to the festival I was in the BDA doesn’t enjoy Cheltenham camp but after this year i’m not really sure you can say that with any certainty. Maybe she has a slight preference for a flat track, but she’s beaten the champion hurdle 3rd, 4th and 5th similar distances over her preferred trip...

The BDA mares / Wodhooh stayers feels like a decent punt at big odds. Gordon said 2m4f is BDA best trip and he’s already mentioned 3m for Wodhooh a few times. He’d surely like to split them if he can.

    That’s an absolute sickener

Also suprised to see flutter open back up with Doyen Quest at 16s in the Mildmay. Arrives fresh and his form ties in with a few at the top of the market, thought he would have been single figures.

Think he’ll really enjoy going from the front round Aintree on this ground. 16s with skybet paying 3 places seems generous given he’s the second highest rated in the field.

Only Harry Lowes entered at the minute with Skelton jocked up and taken off Glance at Midnight. Looks like all of Skeltons other entries are done as well

    2026 Grand National

Been busy today and missed the 14s  To be honest I was expecting single figures prior to decs anyway , and the entries don’t look overly strong. 3 I liked after a quick look over were Glance at Midnight, Joyeuse and Favour And Fortune. No idea who is likely to turn up so I’ll probably...

Will be interesting to see what price Glance at Midnight opens up for that handicap hurdle race on the Friday

Did think that when I saw the post but his IHRB rating hasn’t changed from what I can see, even though other Irish runners from Chelt have new marks. He got a BHA performance rating of 157 so if BHA republish his mark can assume it’ll be around that, but at the minute his highest ‘official’ mark...

    2026 Grand National

Saw an interesting stat on X from Paul Jones (does the ATR stats guides) that 7 of the last 18 winners, and 3 who finished 2nd, were officially ‘well in’ at the weights. Of the 7 winners, 6 were at least 5lb ‘well in’. Only two meet that this year, Jagwar (5lb) and Johnnywho (6lb). Stellar...

Will give Mydaddypaddy a mention. Mentioned in the prices on offer thread but he looks a prime shortener over the summer and once stable tours begin. Just looking over the market: Lossiemouth - rightful clear fav and certainly the most likely winner. Would be a bit of a joke if she didn’t...

Elliott on the Nick Luck podcast saying Brighterdaysahead and Wodhooh both likely for aintree. Mentioned 2m4 and 3m races for both but favouring 2m4 for BDA. I’d be surprised if he ran them both against each other so we might get an early look at Wodhooh over 3 miles 🤞
