    I think it could be worth including Kabral du mathan in the Arkle 12/1 as a solid alternative to the fav. Target looks pretty much nailed on now there’s no middle distance novice chase to worry about. The horse has a high cruising speed and the extra stamina is always a bonus in the Arkle.

    Couldn’t have state man on my mind. He’s spent a season injured and has to prove he’s recovered. He’ll be 10yrs old next season so his best days will be behind him. Time waits for no man……or horse
