    Not far off of my AP book, waiting on Apache Tribe to be priced by someone other than Unibet, Soldier Reeves I'm waiting until it has its first run as I've a thought it won't be too highly tried this season..

    Problem for the June/July/August yankees is....the markets haven't changed since May, no races will be added by books until October so you've got the same races that've been picked apart in April & May so we're all looking at the same horses & races, Unibet have a few additional races but does...

    Had Soldier Reeves down as his Pertemps horse for next season, it'd need to come down a few pounds but...this is Dan we're talking about., guess we'll know after his first run next season, if he wins then stayers it is, if he's beaten with a questionable ride...

    Looks like they've found him a bumper today at Worcester, been gelded too since they picked him up, can't say I ever feel confident when they're brought out in the summertime for a debut run.

    Lot of talk about French breds here which aren't thoroughbreds, they're APQs which are crossbred (Not pureblood like thoroughbred), so maybe that has something to do with the longevity & being more capable to stand harder racing early in comparisson to Irish or UK thoroughbreds.     The trip would be ideal for Romeo, I do have some issues with him now though, his form during October through to Febuary reads 1121111, but March to May reads as 23P25, also 3 trips to the festival now and he's not managed a win yet, maybe the new course will suit him better than the old course...

    Sure did, gave him a lot to do from the second last, it was a race for stayers not sprinters. Hopefully next season they'll keep him at the trip as looked to have loads left just lacked gears...which is perfect for the stayers :D

    I'd say watch it again, on the front angle you can see he never got his front legs over, they went through the fence. For such a superstar he needs to work on a few things before next season, that said Gaelic wasn't straight forward in his early days either so..
