Mares Novice Hurdle 2018

She could be quite good when she learns to jump.

Disappointed for Maria's Benefit. She was second best but she got softened up and Gethings was unable settle her or get her jumping fluently.

She is made to jump fences. WIllie has already said she'd go for any Mares chase...

I HOPE TO GOD they send her against boys.

Jared sullivan beating the horse he sold on the line in next year's champion hurdle would be some story.

You've always got to cater for the fact Willie win put her in the race that is easiest to win?

She'd obviously win the Mares hurdle.... I hope she doesn't go there!

Scrap that, and the Ryanair! :devilish:

Any race market then...

Big form boost for Laurina today IMO, Allertrix won, what looked like a competitive handicap and Laurina didn't even come off the bridle beating her, and done so by 11 lengths.

She's very exciting for me, potentially the new Annie Power, that's how highly I think of her from her limited runs to date.

Massively long way to go to get to the heights of Annie Power, but I'm hoping to get a decent quote before the festival for Laurina for next years Mares' Hurdle. I think she'll push Apples Jade aside, or indeed AJ may well go for a different race anyway next season, it's a long way off of course, but Laurina will be the new star mare for WPM..

I stick by the above ;)

Haha, oh yes.

I think I was first to give you the dismissive brush off for being a bit too bold.

Bit of humble pie for Kevloaf :p

I wouldn't worry too much Kev, the forum is about opinions, and had I not listened to others in other races this year I wouldn't have been so well off, I have definitely got the share of my opinions wrong, and we all at some point have our day in the sun with them too.

Love the game, what a festival it has been and still one more day to go :)

I'd be certain that in general "the forum" has had a better festival than last year. Last year was tough in hindsight....

Really pleased with the number of members we have and hopefully people stick around!

Back to Laurina..... Mullins wasn't as egffusive about her going chasing as he was prior to the run.... so the Mares hurdle is more of an option perhaps

If she was trained by GE then most def the Mares but as it's a Mullins one who knows, maybe the Gold Cup or nothing next year:devilish:....

I think she'll stay hurdling tbh! She's got time for chasing, Mares' is the most likely and she'd win it IMO!
